Check out Title Nine. They have a great variety of bras, and rate them by how supportive they are. They also have a range of sizes. My old favorite was the Juno bra, but they stopped making it. I found a rip off on amazon that seems to do the trick. Some googling will show you an image.

My birthday is also coming up soon. We're big bakers, so I mostly look forward to dessert. Maybe a carrot cake this year? I don't typically log on that day, but I also hope that I get to go for a big hike!

My dad has gout and swears by a cup of black cherry juice a day. Said it made a huge difference.

@WandaVaughn I used to have a dog that got skunked a lot; it seems he couldn't resist them! I echo the use of baking soda, but it may take a couple of baths. I envy all you morning runners. It doesn't work for me, I am just not a morning person. I've learned to be happy with my afternoon runs. 26.84/60 for the month so far.

It's amazing what people go through that isn't obvious to the outside world. You're all so strong! My hardest back-to-running injury was a torn labrum. They dislocated my hip and filed down the top of my femur. I've also had a couple of knee surgeries, but the hip one was harder to come back from. Although, what's hurt my…

I wasn't very active in the September thread, but I'm still in! I have to finish up a 100 mile challenge this month, and I've got a 10K virtual race (my first one). I'm going to aim for 60 miles this month.

I like "Wait, wait", and "Hey, Puzzle Puzzle". I just switched to listening to an audio book, and that's been great too.

Wow this thread moves fast! Had my first cool weather run yesterday -- it was 90 on Monday, 30 on Tuesday and today we have 5 inches of snow (Colorado). I'm still hoping we get an actual fall, though. 9/1 3.57 9/2 3.04 9/3 2.96 9/8 3.56 13.13/50

Hello all! I'm going to join you this month. I'm doing my first virtual race -- 100 miles between today and 10/27, so about 50 miles this month. Glad to be here!

I'm doing it right now. Like you, I also like the accountability. I haven't learned anything ground breaking, but I have picked up a few things. And, I have lost weight!

Runner's World has some strength programs for runners that you could google. It's not heavy weights, but it might be enough to satisfy your strength craving.

I've run out of water while hiking before, it's no fun! This summer I've been taking my camelback, which has been an improvement. Congratulations on a big hike!

Thanks for your comments. It's actually been more like a month since I re-started tracking. The first two weeks I saw a loss, but it's plateaued. I just see so much about cutting carbs. Water weight is an interesting topic as well. How do you know if what you are losing is water weight or not?

Hello all, I've been here before and I'm back. I need a good plan for these next two weeks so I don't go off the rails. My daily drinking has gotten out of hand. I really need to cut back. I'm starting with today and taking it from there.

Do an unassisted pullup. Do 5 toes to bar. Keep going to the gym!

I've had problems for about a year. I had the shots and they worked temporarily. What has worked since then is these that I got off of Amazon. It's basically support for your arch. They really made a difference for me.…

Hi all -- happy October! I'm doing this week by week. So far, so good this week. And speaking of pumpkin, I have a honeybush pumpkin chai tea that is delicious! It's been great in the evenings to squash alcohol and sweet cravings.

Happy Friday everyone! I had a pretty good week. I ended up having a glass of wine on Wednesday while I was cooking, but I kept it to one glass. Big progress for me! Tonight will be a glass or two, then probably a glass tomorrow at a birthday celebration.
-
Back with you all this week. Looking to be AF through at least Thursday. After that, day by day.

Had a few unplanned drinks last night. My will power sucks. However, I have an event tonight and will be out on a school night through Saturday, so that's a few nights AF. I'd love your tips on how you push through the cravings and say no to the first glass!

Another AF night last night. Can't wait for cooler weather to feel like I can "earn" a cup of tea in the evening. For you tea drinkers, I love Adiago teas. They are so good. Tonight is a happy hour at a local brewery, and I plan to have a beer. 9/3 - AF 9/4 - AF 9/5 - AF

Oh, this is exactly what I need! I hope it's okay to join. September starting weight - 202.8 September goal - 197 Ultimate goal - 157 1st - 202.8 5th- 200.8

Hi all. This is such an inspiring thread. I've tried before, and I've been lurking, and feel September is my month. I'm going to go week by week. This week my plan is to be AF until Friday. I'll reassess and hopefully have more AF next week. I'm thinking about weight loss, but also about feeling better and having more…

Also check Title Nine, they have a great range of sports bras. I personally love the Juno bra.
