What's your fitness goal for 2020? If you dare to share?

Climb several Top 100 peaks. Ski across the Methow Valley again, and do a Rendezvous traverse. Have fun on the bike. Spend some happy nights camping in the Pasayten Wilderness.8

That sounds amazing. I'm from Aus 🇦🇺 so had to look them up. Methow Valley looks amazing (guessing I'm not looking at winter photos) Pasayten even more beautiful. Lifestyle is probably the best kind of fitness and these experiences sound rewarding.3

My fitness goal is to really get back into fitness!
1) Currently I can only do one pull up, I want to be able to do at least 10!
2) I used to love running, but haven't been out for 6 months, so my goal for 2020 is to participate in a 10km race.
3) I had my confidence and psychological strength damaged by an accident climbing, so in 2020 I want to get back into happily doing Via Ferratas.
This will all go nicely hand in hand with weight loss goals too. The smaller and lighter I am, the easier these will all be!5 -
Sounds good 😊 this is gonna be fun0

Touch my toes whilst standing up. Fit into / onto most gym machines. Walk 10 km in under 2 hours.11

Stop making excuses and finally, finally get to a healthy weight. I have been on MFP for at least 5 years and always do well for 3-6 months (trying to lose 80lbs) and then fall off due to work travel and stress. I just turned 30 and 2020 is NOT going to be the same.13

Get to my ultimate goal weight of 120 lbs and start a progressive lifting program. Trying to get somewhat toned for summer of 20206
-
Nothing as grand as some here. I would like to be at my goal and keep increasing my activity.3
-
My goal is to have a really good plan that I can execute easily and consistently which will hopefully lead to improvement and a better plan. When a potential goal presents itself I might steer towards it for a time but I am mostly interested in a plan. After all a goal without a plan is just wishful thinking anyway.4

I want to ski every trail at my nordic ski club this winter. I have a handful of favourites that I consistently ski, but this winter (my first as a retired person) I'll have the time and the daylight hours to tackle them all.6

It's the "we need a poet" valley.
What are your goals for 2020? 🙂1 -
-Bench press 315, stuck at 290 forever
-sprint triathalon
-M22 challenge(its a Michigan thing)
Not allow my kids to cause anymore gray hair!6 -
Do an unassisted pullup. Do 5 toes to bar. Keep going to the gym!5
-
Pass my Orange belt test in Krav Maga
Be able to run a 5k without having to stop for walking breaks.
Run and finish a sprint triathlon
My 2018 has been a great year for fitness. I got my yellow belt in Krav Maga, ran 4 different 5k races, hiked several mountains (although nothing like @NorthCascades I am sure), and completed an obstacle course mud race. I want my 2019 to be even better and build on all of my accomplishments.

Increase my lifts, build muscle, and drop body fat. I would like to ease into maintenance in 2020 and do a proper recomp. I also want to increase my NEAT and try to get in some more hikes and walks with my partner.2

My goal is to keep doing what I'm doing.
- Continuing to log and eat at a sizable yet sustainable deficit.
- Continue running, biking and strength training... ramping up each activity as I'm able.

This will probably change, because I think this goal is a lot closer than it seems but my goal before by January is to reach 130lbs.
For the entire year of 2020:
1) Get abs and a small waist, while maintaining(or gaining) more inches on my hips(through muscle & strength training).
2) Learn how to disregard peoples comments on my portion sizes, which are perfectly normal, but substantially smaller than when I was borderline obese go figure! I've been conditioned from a young age that theres pride in eating A LOT of food, and shame in eating moderately and conciously… so that's gonna be a journey!10 -
- Run a half marathon in April.
- Maybe run a half marathon in October ( I’m not 100% decided on that one it depends on some other factors).
- Reach goal weight of 120
- Complete 80 Day Obsession (a Beachbody program)4 -
The same ones that I had for 2019. Keep my weight under control, enjoy my life and my family, keep up with my fitness routine as much as possible and even improve it if I am able. Take care of my house and garden, travel, stay healthy and keep on breathing .1
-
I want to really work on my core strength, and get back to taking zumba classes as often as my body allows3

That's massive. Good luck 🤞 with the grey hair. Don't need luck for the rest 👍0 -

Nice 😊 you'll smash it1 -

Get back to my goal weight by the end of May. Ride my trike 1000 miles before the end of the warm season. Find a balance of being able to enjoy some treats every now and then while maintaining my weight because I'm either being strict and losing or letting everything go and eating like crap while gaining.1

Sounds pretty much like my goals. I'd love to travel more but it will be a solo journey as my dh doesn't care to. But I want to feel healthy, keep active and find a good productive hobby for myself.1 -
goal is just to keep on truckin' with weight loss and weight training. I would like to be at my ultimate goal at my year anniversary in April (100 lbs down), but if it doesn't happen, no biggie.2
-
Maintain until the beginning of 2020. Lose those last 10lbs from Jan 2 to the end of May. Maintenance at the end of May for my big European trip. After that, recomp.
All while lifting very heavy weights.2 -

This ^^ I was able to maintain during Summer vacationing now I need to get serious and stop d**ing around. Stop allowing my social life to keep me from my goals. I would like to cut 20 lbs and continue heavy weight lifting.1 -
1. Do a full push up NOT on my knees!
2. To reach my goal weight of 129lbs
3. Develop sustainable habits to keep the weight off instead of just relying on calorie counting.
4. Start transitioning into semi intuitive eating
5. Full on intuitive eating is probably for 2021
6. Balance my hormones!2 -
I'd like to do an endurance horseback ride in the mid-weight category, NOT the heavy weight category.
I'd like to get to a healthy weight range!
And, I'd like to successfully maintain a healthy weight without obsessively calorie counting.4
