For me, it helps with my joint pain and as an added bonus it helps with my mood swings. I have many people including my hubby who now take this daily and it works great for all of us! Not sure what other benefits it has.

Username: Carrie1829 Y/N to Additional Teams: I think it could get harder to manage if you add additional teams. But that is at your discretion. You know how hard or not it was for your end. Comments/Suggestions: I think it would be easier for team captains to keep track of their teams if we have different weigh in threads…

Got my steps in today. I took another hike over 4 miles. I have been drinking water like crazy with the sun out shining. I can't seem to get enough today.

I have been struggling with water lately... not sure why because that is all I drink but I am just not thirsty. Steps for me have their good days and bad days. Sometimes I am over 12,000 and others I am sitting around 4,000. So both work for me!

Hey everyone! I got out yesterday twice for walks. This cold weather is really starting to wear on me but I will push through it. The recipe for my Peanut Butter Fluff Banana Bites is: 1/4 cup marshmallow cream 1/4 cup peanut butter 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon Mix together and form into balls. Place on top of Snack Factory Pretzel…

@dillyg08 - 4 miles? That is awesome! They were yummy and not horrendous on calories! Which is a win for me! Lol

Took a cold walk at the beach today. Felt great to get out! I am working on my Allrecipes.com assignments this month and came up with a Peanut Butter Fluff Banana bite... hope that is not considered junk food! But I have to get it done.

Congratulations everyone on our first successful week! Today, I was out all day. I started with the gym this morning followed up by 2 different walks. It is a balmy 35 degrees here but I am finding nature so beautiful in the snow! I ended my day with 17,305 steps and 127 active minutes. Pretty good start to my week! Ended…

Hi! My name is Carrie, as you can see from my screen name...hahaha. I am 40 years old married to the love of my life, Jim. We have 3 kids. Christian - 18, Cassie - 15 and Cameron - 12. I have been overweight my whole life and only in the last few years have I tried to lose weight. I have always been happy with who I am. In…

My mini goal is to get under 300 lbs. I am only 13.4 lbs away... last time I was this close I threw in the towel. Not this time!

This scares me too! But I will push on regardless. My hubby says that we will find a way to pay for it when the time comes if I want to have it done. I have always been happy with who I am regardless of my size so I hope that I don't lose that part of me along this journey.

I was at a restaurant the other day and asked them the amounts of what was in my dish. They looked at me a little weird but went and asked. They told me no problem and I was able to ask them to lower the amount in the dish. I ordered a breakfast wrap. Typically they put 4 eggs in it, I asked to only have 2. It was easier…

I also am in the same boat as you. I am 40 years old and starting weight this time around was 344.2. I am down to 329.4 as of my last weigh in. Life seems to continuously get in my way. This time I am determined to kick it out of the way!

Homemade Vegetable Soup... so good and low in calories!

I did the 1 mile video on you tube today. I am shooting to do it one more time today. Small goals at a time is how I want to win this race!

Any suggestions for a beginner?

I just stumbled upon this group and decided to google Leslie Sansone. She has a couple of YouTube videos so I tried one out this morning Walk Indoors! Intervals... It kicked my butt and it was only 15 minutes. Of course I don't normally throw in all the extras when I am walking. Walking is one of my only exercises that I…

Thank you so much for all of the responses so far! You guys are definitely encouraging to me. That is just what i need! I don't minimize the 13 lbs. but I have lost them before and then they come back...my fault, I fall off the bandwagon. This time has to be different for me. I am 39 years old and have struggled my whole…

Yesterday was not a good day for me. I guess we all need to cheat once in a while. Just for today 1. I will eat only my calories and log everything that goes in my mouth. 2. I will get out and walk today. 3. I will drink plenty of water. I have been shooting for 4 water bottles full. A total of 96 oz.
-
Just for today 1. I will drink at least 8 glasses of water. 2. I will log what I eat. 3. I will avoid late night eating. I always feel the need to eat before I go to bed. Not sure why but i will lay in bed thinking about it until I get up and find something. Ugh! 4. I will get out and take a 30 minute walk.
-
Just for today, I will 1. Drink at least 8 glasses of water 2. Track what I eat 3. Eat smaller meals, with snacks in between

My goals are 1. drink lots of water...trying to drink 96oz. a day. 2. Track my food, i have not been eating much for the last month and am having a hard time eating my calories that i need. I…
