Wow! great thread. Gives me something to think about. Not used to rewarding myself with anything ever. Every five pounds a new accessory or clothing item. I would like to lose 20#. 3 pair of shoes and for the final goal, a massage and spa day!

If you have a pedometer, it will help you track your progress regardless of the trail. About 2,000 steps per mile.

Yogi, you and anyone else here is more than welcome to add me. I am looking for support and recipe swapping etc. I love all foods but stay away from processed for ethical reasons. LOL. Exercise is my fave. Always active on here and would love some new friends trying to better their lives.

Thank you. Not certain why it's considered "The red zone". :-)

This is a great unknown for me too. As well as getting my heart rate too high into the red zone (though very comfortable), will I burn muscle?

I'm new to this because I've not ever had this much trouble losing. LOL. Of course, I am much older now. I just cannot seem to shake it off. I need assistance this time. Just joined. If you get off, get back on. You will catch on.

And I guess the whole muscle weighs more isn't true. Of course muscle is good to have though.

These are great! I use the Costco fruit explosion base and mix with 2% milk (cup), 1 banana and sometimes substitute probiotic yogurt for some milk. Simple and I always have ingredients. Dying to try the others. Thanks.

You should also remember to do it the same time of day. I always do it before breakfast. Yes, I get different answers but not too much off.

I'm in but have some catching up to do.

I wish it was easier for folks who are not familiar with metrics. Ex, listing tablespoons, cups, etc as options for volume. I feel like I am guessing without clearer options that I actually use when I cook.
