I agree you do not need to leave your house. I do not understand why you cannot go on a walk though? As for eating a head of lettuce tomatoes and cucmber are not very expensive and can be your lunch for 3 days. The one thing that popped out with this post is that you are very discouraged. Being discouraged and coming up…

if you get meds make sure you take them daily on an empty stomach (no coffee either) an hour later you can eat. It made a huge differene for me. Yes it is a bit harder to loose weight but if you track your food and work out you will loose weight. As long as you consume less calories than you burn. Good luck you got this.…

how low is your calorie count? If you are hungry add good protein to keep you fuller longer. I am not on a low calorie diet because I know if I go back up then the pounds will come back. As for belly. Do strength training. Usually the first place you gain weight is the last place you loose :( Good luck

Here is to a new start. Logging is so good to keep track of your food and you can adjust as time goes by. Now that you are ready to do this just do not do everything at once. It will be overwhelming :) Good luck you can add me if you want

I do not really care too much about the other stuff, sorry to admit. So I just do quick calorie add.

I had a back injury. Still do. My SI joint is pretty messed up. I used to be a runner before that. Now I just walk. I am trying to strengthen those muscles in the hopes I can run again. I tried to today but it started hurting pretty quickly :(

I am pretty new here as well. Feel free to add me. The more support the better

I know how you feel. I have done this before alone and then went to a site where I found tons of support. I lost so much weight and stayed motivated. The site does not exist anymore so I jioned here to do this again. I had a back injury and gained 30 something pounds back. Sucks. But I know I can do it I just need to stay…

Welcome. Congrats on your engagement :-) I dont have a thyroid so I know the struggle but it can be done. I promise. Just slower ;-( good luck

Welcome, I know it is hard. Start slow. Not too much change at once or you feel overwhelmed. You said you are a couch potato so start with a step tracker and set a goal. They say 10 000 steps a day but since you are very sedentary maybe start with 5000 and up it every week. Also cut out drinks that have calories and start…

Add me if you would like. I have a bit more too lose than you do about 27 pounds left :) And I struggle with eating healthy too. My bf eats out all the time and eats unhealthy and I love unhealthy food so I struggle quite a bit Kerstin

I feel that way sometimes. I want it gone now. But it took me months to put on so it will take me months to lose. What keeps me motivated versus struggling is to chart. I chart steps, work out, calories etc. When I see how much I have accomplished I feel more motivated to do it even better. I also give myself goals. One…

AGree with all the comments. I take it one day at a time. I am also a full time college student, with a job that is all sitting and a 6 year old child. It feels overwhelming. But every log of food and every step I track gives me the push to keep going. I keep track of everything because it helps me to keep motivated. I…

Hi there I am pretty commited. I have done this before with great success until I got hurt, then I got lazy and bored so ate. I gained 30 pounds back of my 50 lost. I have started seriously again 2 weeks ago. First week all I changed was water intake. (I hate water and my doctor said I was very dehydrated) then I cut out…

good for you :) you know it takes 21 times to create a habbit so you are almost there. I have been on this weightloss journey once before and loved every minute of it. Now I am back at it because I had hurt my back and got very inactive, lazy and a stress eater. I am 42 so I know what you mean about motivation. But having…

Hi there I am new as well so I am looking for some friends. I am going to get a fitbit in about two weeks and cannot wait. But the apps I have will hold me over. I have a pedometer app and then this one, those alone are keeping me pretty motivated. :) Good luck in your journey. Kerstin
