After a serious binge, like Thanksgiving I def restrict. For more minor ones I just get back on track. Also I keep my baseline calories lower than recommended since a) binging is inevitable and b) we tend to underestimate our caloric intake. That way I'm back where I need to be (maintenance) in a day or so.

I'm 5'4" and maintaining btw 126-129. My starting weight was 141 but all time high probably 150 or so. My suggested maintenance cals are 1640 or so but I keep it at 1500 so I have wiggle room. This is really working for me! Feel free to add me as a friend!!

I feel best when I am over my daily recommendation. Try eating apples, sweet potatoes (skin on), greens and popcorn. Also fiber one bars are yummy!

Omg I eat a large baked sweet potato after almost every morning workout. Baked in the oven (the only way!) and totally plain or with hot sauce. So satisfying and uber healthy! It's helped my lose lbs!

Good luck to you and hang in there. I'm on your same dosage and have had success losing but thats b/c my levels are super stable which did take a while. Patience is easier said than done. Enlist your endocrinologist to allow you the highest safe dosage possible. And continue to listen to your body!

I am 5'4" age 46 and maintaining around 127lb. Not sure about my body fat but I exercise 4x week and maintain at around 1500 cals but always eat back my exercise cals. Nice to hear from all the ladies over 40!!

I always leave calories for a few glasses of wine! When in doubt, dilute with seltzer to make it go farther. Long live the grape!

I really enjoy making quesadillas with Tumaro brand high fiber low carb tortillas. They are only 60 or 70 cals each so you can customize a quesadilla with veggies/salsa/low fat cheese easily for 300-400 cals. Also great as a bread or bun substitute. Good luck!
