I generally eat as much as i would on a normal day - but on the days i know i have a party/ dinner etc i don't worry about it. I usually say between 16-17th December (first xmas dinner) until New year's day is my off-time but i don't gorge every day. Hope this helps.

hi that's great well done. I've been using MFP for 6 weeks now and have lost 7lb so far but last week i put on after a very naughty 48 hrs of binging and boy did i notice. Fingers crossed for a good loss for me this week.

I have been on MFP for just under 6 weeks and i still eat chocolate, have takeaways (estimated calories) and have the odd glass of wine. Thanks ladies. I will admit that i have been & will be continuing to use "walking at 3 or 3.5mph" as i do power on when i'm walking to work, plus its lots of up & down. I didn't think cooking & food prep would count as i cook every day. Thank you

I cook every night and walk 90% of the time, which i have been entering as walking at 2-3mph pace for the length of time i walk for, usually 40 minutes 3 - 4 times a week. but should i be adding the "walking with a pushchair" as well?? My son weighs 2 st & I carry his nursery bag which would probably be about 5lb-ish....
