I too lost & have started to gain now. It's only when I think enough is enough & find my willpower I had 1st time round that I am able to do something about it. When I kid myself I'm no different I just carry on eating rubbish
-
This thread motivated me to lay my kit out last night & hit the road this morning. Been skipping cardio since my new job & just lifting every other day. I feel great because I got the job done :) Thanks to all.
-
Aww thanks. That's just made me smile :)
-
Thankyou hill8570

Thanks everyone. I now have some more weights so can progress.
-
Btw I've only been eating 1500 cals for a week. Before that I wasn't logging at all and would think I was eating over maintenance for a good few months. I lost 2llb this week. I've had a re think and I am gona make it happen that I can get more weights. Sounds like everyone thinks that's the best plan for me. Also just to…
-
I not in a position to buy more weights at the minute unfortunately :(
-
Thanks for all your replies I really appreciate all your advise. Loads to think about now. Seems I should eat more. I like the sound of adding in hip thrusts, should they be done on same day as SL ? I'm also gona look at Nerd fitness. The gym is not an option for me right now.
-
Thanks for all your helpful replies. Don't laugh but im doing SL with 22.5kg & that's all the weights I have so have not been progressing with weight. I do just want to maintain and lose the wobble lol but don't understand all the recomp stuff at all. Overall I'm happy just need to improve this area & like someone…

Any suggestions for this please jemhh ? I'm currently doing stronglifts. What should I add in ? Thankyou :)
-
Thankyou hill8570 but the muscle under the wobble just isn't happening for me lol. That's the only reason I've tightened up the diet as I didn't have that problem at my lower weight. I'm happy with other areas and want my legs back to their best but if I'm honest I don't have a clue hence asking for advice :)
-
Thanks jemhh will have a read :)
-
When I stopped logging and put on some weight it was mainly top of legs. It's the wobble I'm trying to sort out with the calorie deficit lol. Thanks for the replies.

In 5"9 & weigh 9 stone 11llbs.
-
That's me now.
-
Thankyou. The photo is before strong curves and stronglifts. I have much more definition now but am roughly 5lbs heavier than I was in the photo.

Sorry, yes should have said H&M is in UK but didn't know if it was also overseas.
-
H & M have really trendy kids range. It's also very cheap. I love the range.
-
^^^^ This. You are tiny I agree. I'm proud of my muscles lol. Worked hard to get them & bet you have too :)
-
Fab. Well done.
-
I did get carpel tunnel in both my wrists at the same time if that helps. Hope your soon on the mend.

Thankyou, I did look at stronglifts and was gona go with it but when I watched his videos I thought it would be nearly impossible without a rack as he kept adding weights which was easy enough on the rack. I would be putting mine down on the floor all the time as I've no rack iykwim lol.

^ Way better training economy than a bunch of isolation exercises.
This ^, follow a program such as; * Stronglifts 5x5 * ICF 5x5 * New Rules of Lifting For Women * Strong Curves
Thankyou. I've just done strong curves for beginners but didn't enjoy it that much. I would like less upper body work as I'm…

Thanks bmchenry Lol I may try that to see if it helps me squat better. I can see it working tbh :)
-
Can I please ask where you would add in the 4 mentioned excersizes and what if anything you would leave out. Thankyou
-
Thankyou. I'm struggling to master the squat technique. I drop my chest :( So I guess I'm looking for an easy way by omitting it. I will reconsider the programme and have a look at doing those 4 excersizes mentioned. Thanks again.
-
Sorry not 10 minute intervals. It's a DVD with 4 routines lasting 10 mins each.
-
Thankyou for your reply. I'm looking to gain muscle. Meant to say the HIIT are 10 min intervals and there is a choice of 4 as listed.
