  • Thanks for sharing. I can't wait till it's available to stream!! It looks amazing!
  • Uh this sounds.... amazing and fun!!
  • I started at 206lbs and got down to 155lbs! Took me about 6 solid months of insanity and some really picky eating. Honestly, I think the hardest part is staying on track with eating - but I was really hard on myself. I did that whole "I'm gonna start tomorrow" or "this last quesadilla won't hurt me" but I said that allllll…
  • Just wanna jump in here and say that I did Insanity at the beginning of my weight loss journey and lost 50lbs! I've done the program twice over now and Max30 as well. It's awesome. Can't say enough great things about the program!! Keep it up everyone!
  • I use an Apple Watch but I use an HR7 from polar for my weightlifting and cardio tracking. I do find that the Apple Watch is much more motivating than other watches I've had (jawbone up and polar flow). The recent updates make it much faster and I'm enjoying it more than ever before. Haven't missed a day wearing it since I…
  • Anyone can feel free to add me as well. Always up for giving and receiving support - It's the best motivation!
  • I for one don't agree that we should stop posting shirtless selfies but do agree that there should be more men of any body type who feel empowered to take of their shirts and take a picture. The problem is that were flooded with images of the masculine ideal and not anything that challenges that. The more people who…
  • I can't speak for 22 MHC but I lost 50lbs doing Insanity - another beach body product. I didn't follow the nutrition program however, I just counted my calories on mfp and made sure my macros were somewhere close. I can say that beach body does do some gimmicky stuff, but I can't imagine you won't see some good results of…
  • I love Zhu! ^I've never even thought about adding this song to my workout playlist, but you're right, I can see how it'd give me some extra energy! haha. I'm gonna have to throw it in my playlist now.
  • Hey all, Trying to keep my calories low this week in preparation for Munich pride. (I wanna look good, but it'll also be a cheat weekend!) Wish me luck!
  • Weiden, Germany :)
  • Headed to Munich pride and Prague Pride in July! This'll be the first year in a long time that I'll be missing DC pride. :(
  • We're already friends but I'll say hello here. The app is wonderful and the people I've "met" on it have really helped me along and kept me motivated. I'm not being paid to say that either.
  • Wow. I'm 2 hours away in Germany and I lived in Northern VA before moving here. Old Town Alexandria is beautiful.
  • speaking from my experience with insanity, I also had my cals set to 1200 (which i know is low for a male) and I never ate back my calories. I lost nearly 20lbs during those 8 weeks. I didn't see results the whole first month, no weight off, no change in the mirror, it SUCKED. Then all of the sudden as I started month 2…
  • AWESOME, congratulations!
  • Yesterday I went WAY over my calorie goal. Like, 2.6x over the goal. Oopsies. It was a good day though. :)
  • I started school back up on Monday after a long hiatus. It was tough to get my workout in yesterday but today I got a workout and a 4.4k run in!! Wahoo!
  • It must be an update for ios only right now. I see no connect option for the Android app yet. :(
  • I'm new to the group as well. Just purchased my loop & H7 on Saturday. Was using the FT2 for a while before this. I've been manually entering in the calories to mfp but I might try to use MMF and see how that works as far as automatic syncing goes as Numb5kull advised. :)
  • Welcome! The app has helped me in loosing over 30lbs. Hopefully with more friends and people to help keep you accountable through the app, it can start helping you in your journey. For me it wasn't so much restricting my diet as it was changing the quality of food that I ate. Good luck!
  • Hello all! Not new to mfp but new to this group. I started out my journey at 206lbs. After getting married, I guess I let myself go. I decided that it was time to slim up or ship out. So I now weigh in at 158 and am currently focusing on building muscle and tone rather than losing any more weight. I'm always inspired by…
  • Thanks! I currently have two more weeks left of it. I actually am surprised at how much I enjoy it. I've started adding some weightlifting on m, w, f. Not really sure what I'm gonna do after I'm done. I'm thinking I'll try p90x. I don't have access to a gym here in Germany so I have to do everything at home with limited…
  • Thanks! Just finally succumbed to purchasing an actual heart rate monitor to track my exercise. The closer I can get to accurate data about my fitness the better I feel. Anyone else doing/has done Insanity?
