I doubt this will help you but here's my stats: SW: 150 - Bra Size: 36D CW: 120 - Bra Size: 32C Oh and I'm 5'4

My best smoothie so far was: 1/2 cup frozen mango 1/2 cup frozen peach 1/4 cup frozen kiwi 1 celery stick 1 cup baby spinach 1tbsp chia seeds 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt 1tsp Stevia 1 cup coconut water Calorie count was around 250. Also, remember to soak your chia seeds in the coconut water while you measure everything else…

Sketchers Outlet. Got mine for $50. Some people are all anti-sketchers, though. Personally, the memory foam ones do wonders for my knees and they are affordable.

Your problem sounds hormonal. Exersice is known to release endorphins and endorphins make you happy; it doesn't make any sense that it would have the opposite effect on you. My thought is you need to discuss this with your doctor because my guess is that your body is producing or releasing hormones that are affecting you…

I have taken that into consideration, yes. But I'm not only going by the number. My brand new pants that I bought just before my trip (that fit perfectly and were even just a tiny bit tight) now feel a size too big. So even if the scale is off and it's not 8lbs exactly, it is a significant enough loss that my clothes feel…

As far as I understand it. Calories are a measure of energy. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed. So going by that logic, I would assume that your body uses energy to perform tasks. If you have an excess of calories, your body will transform those into fat or muscle mass depending on what you are doing.…

^^ This I've gotten the "menacing" red text before. If it's not a habit of you starving yourself, it is really not that big a deal. You said you had an awesome day, where you felt like you made all the right choices...stick with THAT feeling. MFP is only going to throw out this generic "eat more" message because of how the…

Nom! Scones! Yeah, I'm gonna be eating real mexican food. One real mexican meal pretty much fills up all my macros by itself; I am talking chalupas, chilaquiles, tacos, molotes, enchiladas... You basically have your tortillas, salsas, meats and fats all rolled into any of those. Moderation is what I will do. I will try to…

I invested in a pair of PowerBlock 2.4 adjustable dumbbells. They are super convenient and it ends up being a better deal than buying separates. I also like the design because you can hold them in different ways which makes them versatile for different exercises. Depends on what you are lifting as well. My husband also got…

First of all, if your BF% is accurate, 26% really isn't THAT high. It actually falls under the "normal", "average" and/or "acceptable" range on most charts. Of course it's also about your age, height, body composition and personal fitness goals. As far as: How do you lose body fat? I think you're on the right track. In…

A day? Zero. I don't focus so much on repetitive, monotonous exercises. I usually do weekly "circuits" and work my entire body. So I do end up doing some isolated core exercises but they are usually mixed into a HIIT routine or maybe with some kick-boxing or even strength training.

I use tea instead of water. I also add plain greek yogurt. Oh and I freeze all my fruit so I don't "dilute" any flavor with ice. Here's an example of one of my smoothies: 1/2 banana 1/2 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries and raspberries) 1 kiwi 1/2 cup celery 1/2 cup spinach 1tbsp chia & flax seeds 1/4 cup plain…

I think it's safe to say, most of us share your pain. Not having that cake or cookies that you are just dying for doesn't even help when you go into craving overdrive; at least not for me. One time I was craving chips so badly (didn't have any) and I held off for as long as I could, but my brain just couldn't focus on…

Thank you for the words of encouragement!!! In the end I did "Check-In" yesterday. After all, I have been very consistent with my logging and my workouts so I figured I need to stay consistent with tracking my progress aswell. :)
-
SOLVED I went through with the Check-In because I realized I just want my stats to be consistently there. I also noticed that my other data entries were just as important as the weight. Aside from the number on the scale, I also track my measurements and those numbers did not go up so the 1.5lbs "gain" didn't affect my…

Thank you for your reply. So my daily allowance is 1340 calories and I'm usually under my limit because I work-out 5 days a week and "earn" extra calories with that so I end up eating around 1450 or so since I'm eating back like 75% of my those calories. I also had a heavier dinner last night so I'm thinking the "weight…

Here's what I learned about keeping curves. It's all about working out. Yeah, seriously, it's that simple. In the past, I've lost weight through diet only and surprise surprise, every time I "lost" my hips and hated it. This time (started 5 months ago) I have actually managed to keep it all in proportion and all I had to…

Yes, you can eat a burger. In fact, that is going to be my dinner today and I am very much looking forward to it. The thing with burgers and other high-calorie meals is knowing how to fit it into your allowed calories. It also depends if you make it yourself of if you're ordering at a restaurant. For example, my burger…

I am by no means an expert. This is just what I've personally learned and experienced with weight training. I do strength training using Dumbbells 2-3 times per week and I've been doing it for 5 months. I have learned that keeping good form is more effective than lifting heavier weights. I've also learned that the amount…

I do! Not the day before but usually after I've logged my breakfast, I go ahead and pre-log the rest of my food & exercise for the day. Of course it's not always possible but I do like taking out the guesswork before dinner because I tend to crave everything in the evening so if I've already logged what I'm going to eat, I…

I can't believe I've been on MFP for 4 weeks and haven't taken advantage of the wonderful community aspect. Would love some supportive friends for mutual encouragement and sharing knowledge. Always something new to learn after all :)

I'm going to recommend that you visit: www.fitnessblender.com and check out their blog (or their vlog). They have tons of videos where they answer questions and talk about a lot of topics that might help you. They are also a free resource for fitness with tons of fitness routines to choose from. I have learned a lot from…

I would definitely go with the estimate you got from MFP. As a side note, I'd like to share that even that number seems a bit high. I burn around 59 calories for 1 mile (15min) at a 3.0mph, which seems reasonable for me since I'm 5'4 and weigh 126.

Breakfast has never been my thing. I don't even wake up feeling hungry at all so when I've tried timed-meal diets I just felt stressed out and it caused me to gain or simply not lose any weight. So I'm done with all that. I do have a latte (made with almond milk) every morning so I guess that's my breakfast and I have it…

I usually avoid the scale during my period. I also do not weigh myself every day; instead I only do it once a week, skipping my period week. I get so swollen during my period that sometimes it feels like I go up a full pants size and I feel huge. Plus with all the hormones running wild I just don't like the emotional…

Today I was 100 calories over my limit (I didn't want to be in the red and I didn't work out today) so I logged 30 minutes of calisthenics - which were actually 30 minutes of sweeping and mopping the floor -.

Don't get discouraged. I know it's frustrating when it just seems so easy for other people, yet it takes you like 3 weeks to lose 1 pound. Stick with it! It will come. When that happens to me and I start to feel like: "what's the point?", I remind myself that it is not all about the number on the scale. I remind myself how…

I have an XBox 360 w/ Kinect and have gotten a lot of use out of it in the fitness department. I used to Dance Central 1,2 & 3 when I first started getting into working out. Now I use Zumba Rush and just got Zumba Core. I am in good enough shape now that doing a full 60min Zumba class doesn't burn me out at all so I use it…

I share your feelings about the gym. Gyms make me feel awkward and without a personal trainer, I don't even know if I'm using the machines right or if my workouts are effective. I used to think not going to the gym meant I just didn't like working out. Don't get me wrong, I know a lot of people who do great at gyms, I'm…
