Eat what you like + Reduce portions = weight loss. Diets/diet pills/juicing/fads = unsustainable = weight regain very quickly.

Me too. I fall over my own feet all the time, much to the amusement of all other people. My good deed for the day. Making them laugh. ;)

I'm sure I have some sort of severe calcium shortage around that time. All I crave is dairy dairy dairy. I even crave whey protein. and I usually drink fat free milk, because full cream is too creamy. Around that time I just crave full cream all the time. Last month, on one day, all I litterally ate was yoghurt.…

You absolutely SHOULD eat back exercise calories. If you do, you will still be eating 1200. Because if you eat 1200 and burn off 500, it means your body only has 700 calories to function. What you should be aware of though, is that exercise burn is overestimated. So eat back only 50-75%. Or, if your exercise routine is…

I try to eat chocolate or a treat everyday. It keeps me sane and helps me stick to it. I also have a dessert on Sundays. But sounds to me like your way is just another way of eating it in moderation. :)

If I were you, I'd also eat back exercise calories. You get to eat more because you burned that energy. So you can eat 1500, but still net 1200. I do this and I'm losing fine, although I'm on slightly more than 1200. I usually set aside 150 calories for 2 snacks a day between meals. I keep my breakfast and lunch to 250-300…

In my house I am luckily the one doing the cooking. If my dad doesn't like it, tough. Eat bread instead or cook for yourself.. *shrugs* :)

You should send me that high sodium food. I eat too little sodium. Which often makes me light headed.
-
It will all be water. No fat.
-
Well I retain up to 10lb of water on TOM. So, its totally possible.
-
Nothing in particular at the moment. Although I'm sure later in the week it will be dairy (milk, cheese, yoghurt, ice cream ect). Because TOM.
-
Yes. But its only water retention. :)

Everything in moderation including moderation. ;)

If the number going up for a little while doesn't freak you out, you can still weigh. Personally I only weigh in once a month. I'm not too bothered with the scale. Actually I'm not bothered with it at all. But my trainer says we have to weigh and meassure once a month. ;)

Personally I'd rather chew my food. I've read that the simple action of chewing your food contributes in up to 40% to feeling satiated. (Or satisfied). For me that rings true. If I drink my meals, I'm hungry again half an hour later.

I set my phone alarm for meal times. If it hasn't gone off, I'm not allowed to eat. Also, drawing, pc games, and walking. :)

Everything in moderation. Including moderation. :)

I started setting alarms on my phone for meal and snack times. If the alarm hasn't gone off, I'm not allowed to eat. I only drink water/tea/coffee inbetween alarms. That's what's worked for my mindless eating so far.

I'm having garlic and black pepper baked hake, with strifry vegetables and potato wedges.

I roughly know how long each thing is going to cook, so I set lots of timers. The item that cooks longest goes on the stove first, then a timer goes off for the next one that takes a shorter time, and a timer for the one that takes the shortest time goes on last. I love timers. I'm a bit ocd like that. :)
-
I usually plan more snacks than usual during that time. Otherwise I drink a lot of water. Also, hot beverages like coffee or tea also seem to help. And chewing gum. :)

Eating more protein and fat has kept me full. :) I realized that bread/rice/pasta/oats (and some other carby things) don't keep me full. So even though I love them, I now eat less of them. They are treats.
-
Mm. I don't know if this will help you. Its a bit wacky. But a while ago I started setting alarms on my phone for meal and snack times to keep me from mindlessly eating. If the alarm hasn't gone off, I'm not allowed to eat and only allowed to drink water/coffee/tea. Its helped me.

Out with the new and in with the old. Haha :) I'll see how this goes and then decide from there.
-
I usually eat under my goal. Unintentionally. I only worry about getting enough protein, so carbs and fat ect just end up wherever it is they end up. Sometimes when I want a treat and don't have room for it, I will leave the potato/rice/bread/insert other carb here out of my meals to make room. They are exposable to me. :)

Ohh. Mine is 140grams.

The only talents I have are walking (haha), videogames, drawing and studying. Lol I suppose I've learned to "multitask" doing them. Which is why my thoughts still intrude.
-
Yes I do. Except walking to and from school/work. I drive everywhere. I also didn't calculate with mfp, I used scooby. And I have a pedometer (which I haven't used in a while) but that first time I wore it the whole day to see how many steps I take....and without intentional activity, it was only almost 3500. Sedentary is…

You're going to laugh, but I actually don't think its as bad as I make it out to be. My stomach is just my "weak spot" when it comes to pain. The rest of my body can handle a fair amount of pain really well, but when I have a painfull belly, I just want to curl up and cry. Hahaha. Its pathetic but true.
