  • I'm back on the wagon, too. It's been about 3 weeks and so far I think the most important thing I've learned is that I will always need accountability. I can't take breaks from logging or weighing in. This has to be a lifestyle change. I'm always looking for friends to help motivate each other, so please add me if you…

  • I try to stay at 1200. I have 40 plus pounds to lose and I'm impatient so I want to maximize what I can lose each week while still making sure I get enough nutrition. I get hungry in the evenings, so it's a challenge for me to stick to the1200, but I would say I lose 3lbs a week on average.
  • A frozen banana is a great sweet treat. It tastes like and has the consistency of ice cream. Sometimes I throw one in the blender with a chocolate or vanilla protein shake for a healthy milkshake.
  • Hi everyone, I'm Kristen and I'm 43 and single. I attended a friend's wedding last week with my dream date and I was so disappointed when I saw how I looked in the pictures. It really bothered me and got me to think seriously about my weight. I have a small frame and I should probably weigh 135 at my height, but I let…

  • If you look up a recipe, you can import it and MFP will automatically calculate the overall nutrition information based on the ingredients list provided.
  • I'm in the same boat. I gained 4.2 lbs this week while sticking to my diet. It's so frustrating! But hopefully next week we'll have a downward swoosh on the scale!
  • I dated a Persian man, and I don't think any race or nationality in particular has bias about weight. That's an individual thing. But I do think in cultures where men have slighter builds, they are more conscious of a woman's size in relation to theirs. All men want to feel they are the protector, and I think that may be…
  • I recently dated a man I met online six months earlier. I was also upfront and honest about my weight and sent plenty of recent pictures so there were no surprises when we met. The hardest part was that we fit each other so well in every way, we had a wonderful time together, but despite him knowing I was actively working…
  • I'm a fairly extreme apple shape. My hips are smaller than my waist and I have thin arms and legs. Literally all of my extra weight is in my chest and belly. As I've lost weight, the belly fat has been the last to come off. I had to get within about 10 lbs of my UGW before I wasn't an obvious apple. The best part of being…
  • I'd like to join, too. Please add me to the group. This will be a fun summer challenge!
  • You look great!
