  • I am doing this right now. Lemon juice in water on waking, coffee, then at 11 am first slimfast and 3 pm another slimfast, 6 pm dinner - tonight spaghetti bolognaise and banana and a chunk of cheese. I started to declutter my home and decide to declutter my diet - my stomach has shrunk and once a day I am able to eat what…
  • 18 - time to move out - of course plan it, think what your life can become, what you want to do, who you want to become - work towards those goals - 30 lbs not a massive amount to lose.
  • Count me in. I live in Essex England and always struggling to lose weight as I love food. I have 55 lbs to lose. My big problem is that I am not consistent, eg. Today I am on watermelon and chicken diet!
  • Sugar by Maroon Five is great to dance/jiggle about to!

Not forgetting empanadas and the Cheesecake factory restaurant. ' Running after toddlers has helped the only one pound weight increase. For today: 1. Exercise (walking round the block for 45…
  • Have a look at visualization techniques on YouTube (Jonathan Parker and many others). It really helped me although I was very sceptical. Best of luck.

  • Minca, this has helped a few friends a lot - go on to youtube and search for Brian Proctor - there are others too - and go for visualisation techniques on how being positive, self help for depression, etc. they are pep talks but so helpful.
  • Just for today: 1. Drink water 4 ltrs at least 2. Eat small snacks (big mistake yesterday 620 calories worth of fresh cream cakes) 3. Do exercise I like (yesterday one hour music video on youtube maroon 5 Sugar) jumping, walking, lifting legs high around the house Numbers on scale going down slowly but surely. Have a good…
  • For next week and today - double edge goal 1. Stop fantasing of blueberry muffins and strawberry waffles from Norms in LA (going next week for a week from London to see my family) 2. Psyche myself that I can be on calories even though a whole lot of yummy food will be on offer and I am on holiday 3. Log everything, weigh…
  • Go on your frequent foods, put your finger at the far right of the food you want to delete, slide from right to left and a red delete window will show up. There is a knack to this and it might take you a few attemos before you succeed.
  • I am 5.5 188 lbs would love to lose 60 lbs.
  • This might help - it worked for me. Go on youtube and search for visualization techniques - there are a whole lot there - some for destressing and relaxing and lots of other things. Nothing to lose.
  • Today, will carry on with my visualisation technique - working amazingly for me - I am free of food temptations. Need to apply this to do some exercise and other areas of
  • Cannot wait for Easter break to be over. Temptations all around and succubing. Today: 1. Drink loads of water 2. Fruit for lunch 3. Read about visualisation (after watching Te Secret on Netflix)
  • 87.7 kgs Easter Friday - only midday and it is damage linitation from now on. Big beakfast in a cafe (bacon, egg, sausages, baked beans and chips). Have fancied this for so long but did not enjoy it as much as thought. Easter egg (mr piggy M&s) half the egg. Sure I have had about 1000 calories already. Not in a good place…
  • 88.3 kgs Massively failed yesterday - although lost 200 grms (0.2 kg) 1. Some exercise - hopefully Lesley Sansone rather than walking outside (London wet, windy and cold - when is it going to end?) 2. Stick to 1200 calories 3. Under 100 grms of carbs. 4. Keep busy. Have a great day everybody.
  • 1 April = 88.5 kgs Today only 1. Will do Lesley Sansone dvd with bands (45 mins) 2. Will walk round the block 4 times (30 mins) 3. Will snack on carrots Instead of Belgian chocolate 4. Will practise IMF (2 to 10) 5. Will stick to 1300 calories Have a good day everybody.
  • Today will try not to blow it this evening - will have string cheese and yoghurt for my remaining calories. Promise to myself - do not buy string cheese anymore - highly addictive and over processed (but so yummy).
  • On Thursday and Friday I binged watch "The Killing" 30 episodes in two days. Lied to my husband as he worries about liking too much my own company. I do not know how I did but kept to my calories entitlement. Definitely less cravings since on low carbs.
  • Lesley Sansone walking videos are good; and kettlebells for women (beginners) all free on YouTube.
  • 50 grams of butter for 6 portions of homemade soup so not too bad. Prefer to saute my veggies in butter rather than oil before I add water - that is a Belgian thing.
  • Well whatever works for you!
  • Only last week I was eating a whole packet of cookies in one sitting. I have been told I need to go on blood pressure tablets in the near future if I do not lose weight. So quite an incentive to try to clean my act.
  • A MFp member suggested to keep a jar of sweet pickled gherkins handy so when a craving occurs you grab one (instead of a cookie). They are quite satisfying as they are sweet/ sour (you find them in all the shops in the UK). I think my diary is public but yesterday's menu was: breakfast (3 rashers of bacon, two eggs) with…
  • I have been on less than 100 grms carbs a day for the last three days - hitting my target calories, going a bit over with my fat. I have lost weight every day and I have no cravings. The only problem is that I do not sleep well when on low carbs. I will try carb cycling.reclying
  • My husband is a food snob - he likes food with foam on, jus, coulis, flowers on his food.. He likes taster menus in restaurants - one mouthful and it is gone. That is what I call a food snob. I am not a food snob - i love plain food, eggs, bacon, cheese, vegetables and fruit. Pasta too. I hate offal though.
  • After 10 days of juicing I felt better, my skin was clearer and of course I had lost weight (12 lbs). I made it too labour intensive though - my friend makes her juices simpler - carrots, cucumber, celeri and a whole lemon and apple - delicious. I intend to eat more vegetables, which I love, and have the occasional juice.…
  • The women in my French family are so good. If they go out for a meal in the evening they will either eat an apple or a slice of melon during the day. They say that way they enjoy their meal out so much more like that as they are hungry and are able to savour every morsel they put in their mouth.
