Getting stronger and feeling more fit. It helps my mood and a feeling of accomplishment. I do not feel that I am as old as I am and want to keep feeling that way. Exercise does that for me

Today is Saturday and in my 6 day workout week, this is cardio day. Seventh day is rest. Starting week 13 of P90x, next week. I did 19 workouts n September, 22 in October. November my goal is to continue to increase my workout days...

59 and will be 60 soon. As my late father used to say in his nineties, "I do not feel as old as I am". I feel the same way, though some days are a little rougher getting out of bed, depending on he day before work out. Today Saturday is cardio day, then Sunday is rest day. looking forward to ti. have a great weekend…

I smashed my left foot and broke my small toe and injured the one next to it. It was painful and the first thing to do is nothing. Need to rest and heal for a week or so. It took almost a month but I would do one leg planks, sit and do weights, and minimal cardio on the ellyptical machine until it was healed up.

Ive picked up my dumbbells and weight sets listening to classifieds, yard sales and I found my 15# on the side of the road. I havent spent a lot but have probably 2-3 sets of weights, bars and a bench.

The bars are very filling to me. as they have a lot of fiber. So watch your other fiber sources as it could be to much. Also prtien sakes are filling as it makes a full blender when I do it. Need more substance try making protmeal. A bowl of oatmeal, scoop of powder plus fruit. That carrys me a awhile. Alos eat ever 2-3…

I use Sport Vegan Protein Vanilla as a base. Its good by itself but you can doctor it. * oz water, cup ice, scoop powder, cup of blueberries. Or you pick the fruit you like, peach, mango, strawberry etc..

Week 13 of P90x begins today. I didnt look but believe it to be a rest week. If thats the case then Ill do the elliptical for 35 minutes each day or walk outside of the weather cooperates. Then Ill begin again another round

Doing Classic p90x. I havent dialed n the food like the first time, though I eat healthy, just the macros. However feeling stronger. Entering phase 3, so when I get to the beginning again I should have it down. Wieght hasnt move much but Im stronger for certain.

Smashed my left foot which made doing planks very difficult. If its one thing that Ive learned over the years, when getting injured, is just stop hang out heal, then start again. Well this is my second week of adding planks to my my daily workout and I was just adding 5 seconds per week but can change that. Im at 70 seconds x 6 days a week. I do it after my 30-45 minute work out as a cool down haha then I sit in the leg stretch machine and listen to a podcast. This is how I start my day.

Happy Oct 1. New Month New Day New Way. Didn't consume enough yesterday and need to add more especially protein. Trying to keep macros in the 40/40/20 range. Protein Carbs Fat. Burned a ton of cals yesterday. This morning is plyometrics. Hopefully I wont bonk!

AliNouveau Good Luck with shoulder surgery. I have them both sown back on. Sorry to burst your bubble but be prepared for a few painful weeks and recovery PT is also an issue. Initially take the pan meds and get an ice machine for the shoulder ask the Dr for it. Stock up on ibuprofen and take your time using it.
