Roughly 75 lbs down, 10 - 20 to go? Started in 18W, now 6P.

I think I finally found "success" when I realized that success is every 24 hour period that I stick to my goals, whatever they were that day. Big deal if you had a rough day, week, month, etc. So what? You have tomorrow to do better. That's the best part!

I've lost 80 pounds and I'm pretty sure that if I jumped off a building and spread my arms I could glide. I've got wings. I'm also 42 and genetically predisposed to those damn arms. I'm going to maintain for a year before considering surgery.

Egg whites with sauteed veggies. I sautee the veggies (spinach, onions, zucchinni, peppers, mushrooms, really whatever I have in my fridge) on e a week and keep them in a container in my fridge. Then I pour some egg whites in a pan and toss in some veggies - if I'm feeling inspired I might add .5 oz of a good cheese - and…

Hey!!! You can do this! Sadly, exercise is a bonus - but the real weight loss is going to come from cutting calories, not working out. Don't get me wrong... exercise is good for the mind and body, but without calorie deficit exercise won't do the job. Every day is a new one, try to do the best you can and if you have a…

Me! Started in March at 220,weighed 141.5 this morning (close enough, right?). I'm 42 and 5'1.5".

I think most people here can identify with you and where you're at currently. I know I can. I'm 5'2" and in March I weighed myself under duress and I was 219 lbs. I almost died. I had NO IDEA I was that heavy, I avoided mirrors and pictures like the plague. I finally figured I'd give it a shot. Not dieting. Just counting…

Weight has effected my overall loss pattern, but not the loss itself. I bounce around a lot more now that I'm sleeping less (job change). If you look at my graph I have huge spikes (4-5 pounds up sometimes) but I'm still losing about 4-5 each month. I'm ~ 75 down with 10 or so to go.

I ate candy on Halloween, and chips with queso (maybe 1/2 cup). Gained 9 lbs overnight. Now I'm still up 1.8 but losing slowly. That's some water retention and PMS bloat right there. I didn't eat way over, maybe barely above maintenance - it's a bi!ch for sure.

Because living on 1200 calories leaves little room for indulgences. So I workout. I run, I Zumba, I Latin dance, and I kick box. Because some days I want 1600 calories!

I'm up 1.8 lbs from my weight on Friday (last week), but on Sunday I was up 7.5 lbs... So it's coming down... slowly...

Oh I'm loving this post! I'm so with you all. I'm 17 pounds from goal (going 5 under for the cushion) and was so hard. I took an unplanned diet break - immediately gained 5 (overnight) but that's because I went to maintenance and restored the glycogen/water weight. I'm getting used to the idea that this is forever. There's…

Thank you everyone! I'm far from perfect, and it's getting harder as I get closer to goal. But I feel great, better than I have in a long time. If I can do this - anyone can :)

Thank you :). I started on March 1 of this year. I stuck to my calorie allotment (going over a few times, but getting back on track the next day) religiously. I began to exercise after a month. At this point I workout 5-6x per week.

Totally! As I continue I notice that my hungry days are usually followed by "not hungry" days so it tends to even out. Whatever the case maybe, you ate it - hopefully you enjoyed it (I really try to enjoy the food if I'm going over) - and tomorrow is a new day. Nothing is blown and nothing is ruined. Keep on trucking!

Mine aren't just visible, they're elevated. Like mini hoses. So weird.! Glad I'm not alone.

No bad days... This is for life. There are just days.

Me! I found a huge growth on my tailbone that turned out to be my tailbone. The tumor on my shoulder was my arm bone (the joint where it connects to the clavicle). Lots of newly discovered skeletal things going on here. 75 pounds will unveil a number of things.

I found that I'm starving for 2 days and then my hunger is gone for 2 days so for me it evens out. Still, after 9 months, I'm always freaked out... like "oh NO! I'm going to wreck my whole new lifestyle..." And then 2 days later I get my period and I'm like "oh yeah... I forgot." Every month.

Made me laugh, thank you!!

Sodium, TOM if female... If you're counting accurately you WILL lose. Not every week, but you will. Patience grasshopper, patience.

Don't think of it as "failure" or "throwing everything away," think of it as living life. If you are going to reach your goal weight AND stay there you will have periods of eating more, and periods of eating less. So this was a period of eating more. The end. I've lost 75 pounds and am 15-20 from my ultimate goal. This…

I don't, but I should. It's confusing for people bc it will post that I lost 2 pounds since my last weigh in but it doesn't show the preceding 2.5 lb increase from the days popcorn a few days prior...

Sometimes parents are the ones who are the biggest disappointments. Your mothers words are a reflection of how she feels about herself more than a reflection of how she feels about you. I'm not aware of your age (sorry, haven't read it all yet and feel compelled to respond). As you get older, in my opinion, you become more…

Just a few days ago I was moaning about The SAME THING. The hunger came on hard and fast, which made me fear that I would eat a ton of food and throw in the towel. I've been doing this for long enough that I should've recognized the pattern (for myself). It was hormonal, and I gave myself permission to eat but promised…

I seem to be back on track in the hunger department. Hormonal cravings were bad this month, and they're getting stronger and more frequent. So there's that. But... I'm coasting to the finish line now. It'll be a long road, but there's no other choice. I'm not dropping to a ridiculously low calorie limit. It would be…

You'll get there! I know you will!!

Well lady, I'd do a flipping MC HAMMER dance if I could get my body to look like yours. So weight training it is.
