This is brilliant!! Good work! Like you I just cant get enough of being in the water, earlier post made a good point about getting a decent moisturizer and having the clearest skin in my life thanks to the regular dose of chlorine!

Very jealous!!!

Totally get it, each of my.swim sessions is minimum a mile in 45mins (is that pootling?) I am talking about dedicated swimming for fitness, swimming that I am hoping will build up my stamina and breathing for other things like running...in my.own world.that is my training.

I get the hair thing! I recently had my long locks chopped...maybe that's why I'm so into it now!

Haha, yes, like all activity it does require appropriate gear!

(given that swimming burns way more cals than running, is less strain on joints and brilliant for toning too, why is it so undesirable at the moment?)

Great point!!

I do swimming twice a week and can happily smash out a mile in the pool, but I wanted to add something in the fresh air (and free!). Like you I wonder at what cost to my body (in its current state) is this run? Three people I work with all avid runners have foot and knee injuries inflicted by pounding pavement...

Thanks, that's good to know. I do like my protein so would rather not cut back on that. While I'm meeting my calorie goal I will continue to enjoy a bit of meat

Baked cod fillet with tomato chutney on top, salad on an open pitta, delish!!!

Great thread! Loving having a peek at other people's recipes! I have just prepped for the week Spanish chicken (loads of root veg, chicken thighs, tomatoes, garlic, paprika and oregano) and (a new one for me) fish cakes! All bagged up and in the freezer for the week ahead!
