Hi add me if you want. I have just passed the one week mark and reached my goal of 2lb. I am happy to encourage and support but not compete. If you can add me I am sure I will find you, I have no idea how to add you. Happy journey.

I go to my home on the top left then click check in.

Don't be down be upbeat that you have actually come back. I'm one week in and just logging everything I eat. Seeing the stats I have cut back on jam, butter and mayo, no candy and only one small bar of chocolate this week. I would start be eating as you do and recording that lets you see where the big cals are. You can do…

Weekly. I also took my measurements as sometimes those mean more, I think it would be enough to measure once per month.

One week in and it s working for me. Goal 2lb loss this week, weighed myself this morning and yes 2lb lost it doesn't get better than that. Good luck with yours and well done coming here when you have 10lb to lose I waited till I had 49lb to lose.

Hmm I was just trying out the quote button to see what happened. Well now I know. Does anyone know an easy way to come back to this post? Seems to me we have things in common.

Okay so I have been working out for about a month straight and just started using my fitness pal faithfully for one week now and I am down 3.5lbs Whoo hoo finally the scale is going in the right direction. Menopause sucks.[/quote]

Hi you are both doing great. May I join you just weighed in week 1and I have lost my target of 2lb. I'm post menopause and have arthritis so it's great to see this working. Feeling good.

Today is Mothers day in UK. Another treat I got was my son posted photos on face book and he has lost tons of weight and looks so fit. He sat at a computer for 15 years but is now in Norway farming, chopping logs and skiing. I am so proud of him.

Fill the cup then put contents on a scale. This is the only reliable way to count it.
-
Thank you. My treat is a day in the garden.

Good advice above. Log everything then look to see what you can cut out/down on. Exercise to get you started put on some music and dance, shut the curtains if you have to but just let go and have some fun with the music. Stay with it even if you slip up or don't reach a goal just keep on going, you can do this.

Hi, on the top line press MY HOME. On the second line press CHECK-IN. Hope this helps.

Variety is the spice of life. Try them all. Be aware that not all brown bread is wholemeal. If you want to eat wholemeal make sure it says 'wholemeal' somewhere on the packet.
-
Well done. I'm just starting and you have inspired me to get going.
-
Thanks, I hope so.

Great, you are doing so well. I've just started and hope to follow your example.
