    The app is an awesome tool to help you meet your goals, but it won't "work" for you - you need to be the one to do the work.
    If you are committed to your goals and eat the calorie amount that MFP tells you to eat (make sure you weigh your food with a scale), you will indeed lose your 10lb. Also be aware that it takes time - this is not meant to be a fad diet or a "quick fix". Depending on your current height/weight it could take a while to lose 10lb. Stick with it, and enjoy a healthier lifestyle :)

    One week in and it s working for me. Goal 2lb loss this week, weighed myself this morning and yes 2lb lost it doesn't get better than that. Good luck with yours and well done coming here when you have 10lb to lose I waited till I had 49lb to lose.

    i dont log food or keep a diary but I use the food data base and the support from the people here is top notch. best tip I got was weigh your food!
