As I understand it, It is not a body building program. It is strength training. IMHO much better all around for retaining muscle and core strength.

Look under Cardio for weight lifting. They do log calories burned there for weight training. Not sure how accurate it is but better than nothing I think. Keep lifting! nm

I do weigh all - thanks though for being specific. And I have it set for 2lbs a week! That's why I was thinking it was going too slow.

I do measure everything and do sometimes eat back some of the workout calories. I thought we were supposed to as the app is set up that way. So I eat 1500 before workout and tend to earn additional calories (300-500) from all exercises (although I do some things that are not listed in the app (like airsquats) that should…

Thank you all for your input. It helps to hear from you all. I have been exercising for 2 years straight and during that time was eating about 2500 cal or more a day (paleo - no counting calories) and def put on muscle. Did hydrostatic body fat test over course of 6 months and lost no fat so decided to try calorie…
