You need to wear similar clothing for your photos and keep the same pose. Your "before" clothes hide the weight, and the bright pink blouse in today's photo accentuates your figure. Your face is definitely slimmer, though. Don't give up!

During the workweek, I alternate between two. Not having to make a decision so early in the day helps: 1/2 cup Chobani Plain Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup Grape Nuts Cereal, 1/4 cup frozen Blueberries (by the time I get to work, they're perfectly thawed); 1/2 cup rolled oats (not instant), 1/4 cup raising (microwave 5 minutes at…

Never knew what a persimmon was until I met my husband. He LOVED those seasonal persimmons and persimmon cookies!

I created a new category, "liquids" where I post my coffee (there are actually a few calories) and beer. They just didn't belong anywhere else, so that's where I dropped them. I count the coffee towards my daily water goal, so I don't get overly upset if I can't get that full 1/2 gallon of water down every day.

I've got a perfectly good treadmill that's sitting quietly in my living room. What is your planned exercise schedule / goals? Perhaps we could synchronize them and report to each other on the assigned days. Cute puppy! Looks quite young, when it gets older, it'll be a perfect exercise tool!

Three of those bottles is nearly 675 calories a day (and really bad for you as well). If you did NOTHING else but give up the sugary drink and replaced it with water (I personally am not a huge diet soda fan), you could lose over 50 pounds in a year. Imagine what you could accomplish with the healthy eating and everything…

I found MFP in 2015. Weighed, measured and tracked everything, and I lost a decent amount of weight. Then I stopped weighing, measuring, and tracking, and I gained the decent amount of weight I lost, and then some. I returned on January 3. I'm again weighing, measuring and tracking everything (even the many adult beverages…

I'm 61, and I've been getting one every year with no reactions for the last 15+ years. Also got pneumonia and shingles vaccines. Just one minor bout with the flu a few years back.

Last week I lamented a rotten day with beer! Went way over the limits, and cut back 100 calories a day last week. Lost two pounds!

It's a reasonable goal. A slow steady weight loss resulting from lifestyle change (not dieting) should mean success in maintenance once you've lost the weight.
