Much love and encouragement your way! :) I am about that weight as well. The idea that I may die an early death scares me. I feel like I can contribute to the world, and I'm not willing to cut down the time I have left. So, I decided to buckle down and lose the pounds.

Yup! I currently weigh around 294 lbs and need to get down to about 130 lbs. It's going to be tough, but my first couple of days of lifestyle change have gone well. I'm optimistic. :)

Howdy! Good luck on your journey! I have a long one ahead of me...I need to go from 297 to 130. It'll be rough, but with a good community backing me, I think everything will be alright. I'll be your buddy! I'm trying to get down to about 130 from 297. I've just started making plans today, so I'm feeling a wee bit clueless. Any buddies/support would be awesome. :)

Awesome! It's nice to see someone do well. Keep it up. :smiley: Any particular diet and exercise 'rules' you're following? I consulted a doctor who told me 1300 calories, 60g (or more) protein per day, and less than 30g carbs. And the whole 30 minutes/exercise per day deal.
