These chair exercises are awesome. They say for elderly but anyone can do them: https://members.growyoungfitness.com/. This is another great one: https://www.better5.com. I have bad knees, lower back and hips and I can do both of these. Good luck :)

I use Grow Young Fitness It is a lot of chair exercises for older people that have a hard time with normal exercises. But there are a lot of core, cardio and strength training videos also. I also love Body Groove with Misty Tirpoli. The are dance exercises. These aren't apps on the phone, they are both on the computer. I…

I have the same problem. I drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day, exercise and I am usually under my calories allowed. I measured this week and almost everything was the same or bigger. I don't understand because everyone laughs at me because my pants are so baggy.

Thank you Elsie. Yes your sugars being out of whack does make you cranky and lethargic because you feel so bad. It is so hard on your body. I sat around for months and did nothing because I didn't have the energy or the will to get up and do anything. I just didn't care. But I have a 3 year old granddaugher that I love…

You are so right. It would save a lot of money.

I'm not quite old enough for Medicare yet. I will be in December.

Thank you. I will check into that :)

I would love to be able to do pool exercises. The only thing available is the Y but I am on a fixed income and it is very expensive. I appreciate the thought though. Thank you and have a blessed day :)

Thanks everyone for the comments and help. I guess because I am stuck right now (I am going up and down a pound or 2), I get discouraged and think another way would be better. I am definitely going to try your suggestions and see if that helps me. Thanks again and I hope you all have a blessed day :)

I am going to tighten up. quiksylver296 posted a video about measuring and I was very surprised by what I learned. I am sure it is going to help me with measurements.

Elsie, I have been to the diabetes classes and I do track my sugars several times a day. My A1c was 6.4 last month when I went to the doctor which is good. My cholesterol was better also.I had 3 tia's last July so I am doing my very best to get all of my numbers down so that doesn't happen again. I was very lucky that it…

quiksylver296, thank you so much for that video. Wow, what a difference. I had no idea the measurements were so off. I am going to start weighing everything instead of using the measuring cups. I'm sure this will make a big difference.

I used the MFP guide to lose the 85. It has been over a long period of time. I have at least another 85 to lose. I started at 342 and I'm down to 257. Right now I would just like to get down to 200 or under. I set small goals and work on them until I get there and then set another goal. When I hit 260 my next goal is 240,…

Lynn, that was not meant for you :). I was just saying that I wish I could do regular exercises but because of my knees I can't. I know the chair exercises are not for everyone but for us seniors that have problems with mobility and balance they are great. I have gone from sitting on the couch all day playing on the…

Yes Maureen, I do have goals on carbs, proteins, fats and sugar. An it is really helping with my A1c. It was 6.4 last month and my cholesterol came down too.
-
Thank you :). It has taken a long time to lose it but I keep trudging along. I know the chair exercises don't work as well as regular exercises but that is all I can do. At least I am moving more and I feel a lot better.

I weigh and measure everything. On the 21 day fix everything is measured but it says I should have almost 2500 calories a day. I am diabetic so I have to watch my carb and sugar intake and I don't want to gain back any of the 85 pounds I have already lost. Thank you all for you input. I appreciate it. :)

Hi, I am old and have bad knees so I do Grown Young Fitness. It is for seniors but anyone can do it. It is mostly chair exercises until you heal. Praying that you will heal soon and good luck :)

I have had a total knee replacement and my other knee needs to be done so I can't do regular exercise. I found chair exercises on Grow Young Fitness on YouTube. It says it is for seniors (which I am but anyone can do them) They also have regular exercise videos and videos for knee therapy. I really like them. You start out…

Awesome job on your weight loss so far Steve. Just take one day at a time. You can do this. :)

Thanks for the welcome. I appreciate it. I need the encouragement. I am 62 with diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease and acid reflux ( I think that's all...lol). I have had one knee totally replaced and need to have the other one done. I really need to lose the extra weight for my health. It is…
