I've seen that you said before you use the breath analyzer. I'm gonna look into that also, I might as well at this point lol. But I did just test again and I'm at 1.9 :smile: So it was def one of the sweeteners knocking my ketones down. So strange and interesting how everyone is so different.

Oh ok. I was wondering about that. I thought maybe .5 was barely doing anything. I know they say with the ketostix, as long as you're pink then you're good but I didn't know about the blood testing. And I hate how expensive these strips are!

Awesome! Thank you! I noticed yesterday that i got good readings on the ketostix all day until I added a water flavor thing to my water and then I had a diet soda, then I came up no trace. I know they aren't reliable but I never had an issue before. So today I'm gonna see what happens

That's what I was thinking about the "sugar free" foods, I never had them before and I've never had a problem until now. So I'm thinking it's something to do with that. I just know that .5 is barely in ketosis. I think "optimal" is 1.5 to 3 so I guess just to make myself feel better id like to see those types of numbers.…

I do a protein shake. I use Iso protein, unsweetened almond milk, heavy cream, MCT oil and coconut oil. Is 390 cals and 3 grams of carbs, but the fat keep you full for hours. I drink it around 8 and I have to force myself to eat lunch at 11:30. Feel free to add me to see my diary. Then I eat eggs and pork roll for dinner…

I'm 5'4. Started at 147 and I'm down to 133.5. I started low carb October 4th. Lost 13.5 pounds since then. Goal is 115 but I work out a lot so maybe 120 will be better.

I seem to average 120 protein, 20 carb, 95 fat. Maybe I should up the protein..

Okay, that's what I figured. So basically my protein intake is making up for it? It would be a problem if I was eating carbs or protein.

That shake sounds amazing!!!!!! Yum! Maybe the problem is that I didn't "blend" it...I just have a mixer cup that I shake. The liquid coconut oil shipped today and so did the MCT oil so I'll be good to go in a few days lol. Can't wait to try it

Yea just the coconut oil and butter. It was probably about 20 seconds and then it was all liquid so I dumped it and and it was awful.

I think it would've been fine in coffee or something hot like a lot of you are saying but like I said I use it in a protein shake..which is cold. I ordered MCT oil, should come this week, I'll just use that. Thanks everyone!

Thanks everyone. Tried it today with some butter to add to my protein shake after I microwaved a serving, and it was the biggest fail ever. There was a million clumps of stuff. The top layer got hard and goopy and fuzzy. I had to dump it all out and use my other protein shake. I'm so annoyed.

I eat nuts at lunch. But I need to try them pepperoni crisps! But I eat pepperoni and cheese when I'm done work as a snack lol and I LOVE it. LCHF is the best lifestyle change everrrrrr
