Also an odd thing that happened to me about a month or two in. I actually had to start eating more calories. I bumped my daily limit up a hundred calories just to see what would happen and "boom" I started losing again. So you can definitely adjust things to your fit you personally.

Very interesting. My husband just had a heart attack in August at only 48 years old. Doctors can't really determine what caused it as his blood cholesterol, blood pressure are good and he doesn't have a family history. Makes me wonder though....

I like to make a version of a pan gravy that doesn't use any flour......I use the same pain I cooked my meat in and deglaze with a little water. Then add butter and heavy cream and cook all of that with some salt and pepper and let it reduce until it gets to a little thicker. Very potent and flavorful....

Same here with the avocados.....LOVE guacamole, but if I eat more than one taste I am miserable the rest of the day. Always sort of wondered about it too.....I do have digestive issues if I eat too much of any crunch raw vegetable so maybe it is the fiber!

At the time I was eating keto to try and help my seizures, so thought buying the Ketonix would help me know where I was at. I knew I was in ketosis by my nasty acetone breath (LOL) but wanted to know where my levels were at. But like I said....Never could get much of a consistent reading with the thing!

I struggled with my Ketonix. I could blow twice in a row within minutes and get different results....I know it's important to blow consistently and I just couldn't seem to get the hang of it I guess.

This! Never forget my magnesium and that is the brand I use as well....Works great for me. You get used to the horse sized tablets.....

I feel like it's very possible to lose weight with a higher carb limit, the issue I seem to run into is that if I don't keep my carbs down to a very keto limit then I'm dealing with hunger issues all day and I might be eating low carb items, but just too much all day long.
