Great work, mate!

Get that on video! I need to see it for motivation. Trying to get there myself sometime this year, hopefully.

These kind of revelations are so nice to read. Cannot wait until OP has one.

This would depend on his goals for lifting at school. There is nothing inherently wrong with 1RM training at school either. A lot of schools have powerlifting teams. OP I'd like to reiterate the fact that form is of paramount importance. Learning proper technique from the go will be much easier than fixing technique down…

Well then we will just have to agree to disagree. No hate from me, just disagreeing.

But you think his methods apply to the general populous? Srs question.

Can you link me to one of your posts? I've never seen you brah.

I disagree with you. Anytime somebody uses absolutes such as "everyone" and "everything", I assume they're too lazy to make accurate assessments and I cannot believe much from them. I do think members of this place are very knowledgeable on a broad range of things and sometimes you have to put your ego away and focus on…

Not sure of your shoe size, but try here for some options. The ones I have are depleting from Asics website but they're only $30.

Thanks boiiiiiiiiii!

You likey?!

Working on form. Trying to focus on pulling all of the slack out the bar first (didn't do that on the first rep). Also need to start focusing on thrusting through the top of the lift. Just trying to improve with more and more reps. https://www.instagram.com/p/BPJCtkPAoNe/?taken-by=tribalperformance

There are 20 weeks until June. If you lose a pound a week for twenty weeks, you'll meet your goal. I don't think it would take anything as drastic as working out twice a day. I would just op for continued daily exercise and a caloric deficit large enough to lose a pound a week.

I just found two USAPL meets in Boise and one in Meridian. The one in Meridian is late Feb. but the other two (Boise) are in early June and early August. Not sure how close you are to Boise.

I don't see where OP said he was definitely going to run. He's asking. OP, I'd recommend taking it easy after giving blood. The elliptical will still be there tomorrow. If you vote to give it a shot, it doesn't HAVE to be 60-75 minutes. It could be 15-20 minutes.

What state (if you're comfortable telling)? I wish USAPL had 24hr weigh-ins. I have to travel to Mississippi or (almost) Georgia to compete and I live in Alabama. However, the state just sanctioned a meet about 50 minutes from me. I'm stoked.

You can find several TDEE calculators online (Scooby's is popular). Once you know your TDEE, choose a daily deficit that aligns with your goals for weight loss/gain, etc. The fact is, people try and be to aggressive a lot of times with their deficit to lose weight too quickly. However, without knowing your stats and…

Don't make a habit of it. Move on. Will it affect your progress? Yes because weight loss and weight gain revolve around calorie consumption and calories burned. What are your stats if you don't mind answering? A lot of people choose 1200 calories because they think it's some kind of magic number to lose weight. Fact is,…

There's no need to justify SEVERAL things that are justified on these boards. As for this thread specifically, I don't see where anybody has suggested they are bad or evil.

Oh, it just seemed kind of random to me. For the record, I don't wear gloves. I don't like callouses either though, so I file them off and then buff them out for silky smooth hands. It's almost a nightly routine.
-
You would tell somebody that for having a different opinion?
-
Probably because she's at a higher weight with it and if scale weight is important, I'd say that's why.

What's your time worth? Usually, CF prices are significantly higher than an average gym membership. My point is, if time and money aren't an issue, I'd stick with what you like better (CF is what I'm gathering). I can't imagine time not being an issue though, or you probably wouldn't have mentioned it. My choice, given…

If you want a frothy shake, I recommend a blender.
