  • Just do it. Schedule it. Whatever you need to do. Find something you like to do. Turn it into a habit. Change it up to keep things interesting.
  • Had to buy new teaching clothes because I shrank so much over summer that nothing fit. And I just did 20 regular (not on knees) push-ups to prove to the kids I could
  • I believe I've seen this pic before. Those arms are amazing.
  • Cool! I'd love to see pics :)
  • What a fun thread! Some friends and I did a GI Joe group last year in Minneapolis as our first attempt at cosplay. We're perfecting them for Chicago this year. I've lost 20 lbs in preparation for the spandex. Cosplay is excellent motivation.
  • I lift with my husband. Just use less weight. Maybe I should clarify. We do the same routine. He does a set, I do a set. We change weights between because we don't lift the same. I lift heavy for me.
  • Bicycle is very good. Stationary or otherwise. Don't use the straps, though and make sure you're pushing through with the foot and not the toe. You want to strengthen your leg muscles while staying low impact on the knees. Walking is another good one.
  • I have a Charge HR that I wear on my ankle. Wore it on my wrist for a couple of weeks. It's more comfortable on my ankle, gets the same HR readings and seems to be more accurate on step count.
  • I let myself have it if I want it and it fits in my calorie goal for the day. But I don't buy bars. I stick to I ndividually wrapped small servings. And savor. Concentrate on that one piece and enjoy it. Then move on to something else.
  • Thank you! That helps.
  • So excited to see this group. A friend and I went to comic con in Minneapolis last year. It was our first and we decided to go as GI Joe characters. Going to use the same costumes this year in Chicago, just improving them a bit. Trying to drop some pounds and firm up a bit for spandex. :)
