The only reason I eat less on days I work out is because I haven't figured out how to do both at once.

If it's once in a while, I wouldn't worry too much. Overestimate if you don't know the exact portion size or if you think the nutritional value isn't accurate. If you're going out all the time and you find it too difficult to log, maybe it's time to switch up your routine and start making your own meal... that way you know…

@Nage3000, I understand your enthusiasm and I think it's great that keto works so well and is sustainable for you, but making blanket statements like this is why most people here think we all wear tinfoil hats...

I totally need those octo-sausages in my life...

+1 for Yoga with Adrienne.

I use it in my BPC sometimes.. I find it gives me more energy than coconut oil alone, but it could be a placebo effect.

I stumbled across this website and thought it might be of interest: LC-Triathlete It has some really great studies linked, as well as his own anecdotes about being low carb and doing endurance exercise.

Ironically, goat milk has about 30-35% mct... so if you're looking to keep your medium chain fatty acids and go lacto-carnivore, that might be a good option for you.

I think that was covered by the statement: "It can be good for those who need to reduce carbs for health reasons or enjoy eating that way." and "Pros and cons are going to vary between people. I eat low carb and have for some months now. For me the pros are..."

I have a foam roller and a couple of those spiky little balls that are about the size of a tennis ball... I've had a shoulder injury since July of last year that I've been receiving osteopathic treatment for, but nothing so far has worked as well as those little spiky ****ers. They hurt like a son of a gun, but in the long…

When I'm in a rush, I'll throw a can of it together with some coleslaw and a little chili pepper. Perfect for when I'm running out the house in the morning and forget to pack a lunch.

Trying to gain muscle. Probably just getting fat.

No worries... my comment wasn't aimed at you specifically. I just wanted to clarify as the two tend to get lumped together quite a bit. My point was only that you can continue to have carbohydrates on a low carb diet... they're just restricted. Any diet that involves cutting calories will restrict one macro-nutrient or…

Low carb isn't neccesarily no carb. Low carb doesn't automatically mean a ketogenic diet. I eat low carb... I eat rice, dark chocolate, starchy vegetables, some fruits, lentils and even occasionally wheat products (though I do find them hard to digest so I tend to avoid them). I find protein and fats are more satiating, so…

Cardio burns more calories, but strength training will help you to retain lean mass while eating at a deficit. It's good to do a little of both, but it's not necessary as long as you're eating less calories than you're using.

Today I discovered GG Scandinavian Crispbreads (3g net carbs per slice)... they're super dry, but an excellent vessel for my beloved Kerrygold. I also bought some Ohso sugar-free dark chocolate with probiotics, slim rice and a Carb Killa bar.

A few of my faves are macadamia nuts, pepperoni, radishes & dark chocolate...

Why I love this WOE...

I like to roast cauliflower and broccoli with a little thai curry paste, then blend it with chicken or vegetable stock.... it's delicious, filling and very low cal.
