  • Have patience, your rate of loss is completely normal.
  • OP is there a reason you are cutting carbs? Sounds like you need them.
  • That happened to me at a Subway I used to live by. I took a picture of the sandwich emailed HO and never went back to that location. Subway is a franchise, but they still have to follow the rules, and restricting the amount of veggies you get is not part of the rules.
  • well you're older now then you were when you first lots the weight, so you won't look exactly the same. Plus you stretched out your skin again so you might have loose skin to deal with, or if you have good genetics you might not. People have lost and regained many times over, I had three pregnancies I did this three times,…
  • lmfao no you're not eating too much fruit...
  • Don't worry about good fats/carbs and bad fats/carbs right now. I'm guessing your top priority right now is to lose weight since you joined MFP. Have you entered your info to get your calorie goal? The most important thing for weight loss is sticking to that calorie goal by weighing and measuring anything that goes in your…
  • Another vote for don't do it.

  • There is an option for general gardening, but TBH I don't think it burns that many calories. You're using a weed whacker right?
  • What type of exercise are you doing that burns that many calories? If a machine is telling you you burned that much or even if MFP says that, know that those numbers are very over inflated. Most people eat the amount of calories this app tells them, then eat back half their exercise calories.
  • People on youtube will say anything for more views, subs, sponsors and $$$$$, take it with a grain of salt. ACV doesn't work and sounds like a miserable thing to have to drink everyday.
  • 600 for suhoor, 600 for iftarr....spread it out how ever you want. I'd suggest higher protein and fiber for suhoor though.

  • I pack protein bars. Family vacations are very unstructured for us, so sometimes lunch will be at 3 pm or dinner at 10 pm and while the kids snack on crackers, granola bars and other quick non perishable things I have a Quest bar to tide me over for a bit. I don't bring a scale or any exercise equipment, I let loose and…
  • Yea three times. You should be eating an extra 500 calories/day for a infant under 6 months old, once they've started solids you can lower that amount gradually until you find what works best for you. Focus on eating nutrient dense foods and don't cut carbs, you and baby need them.
  • Oh my goodness. Only you can decide if it's too much @syousaf571, you know your calorie goal, your micro nutrient goal and your macro goal.
  • By eating at a calorie deficit. In your other post you said you were 170 lbs wanting to be 135 lbs. You're just going to have to be patient, you cannot spot reduce fat, it will come off where it wants, when it wants.

  • Milk Eggs Cucumber Frozen veggies Yogurt Cookies Coffee Frozen dinners (emergencies like I don't feel like cooking) Chicken Canned soup Canned tuna Ice Cream Protein bars Chocolate Cereal Cheese Granola bars Tomatoes Diet Coke
  • And a plateau can be because you didn't readjust your caloric deficit after 10 + lbs of weight loss, or most commonly you are not weighing and measuring your food.
  • Sandwiches and wraps are not the exception, they are healthy. What am I missing? Carbs are a marco just like fat and protein, they all serve a purpose.
  • I second this, one of my daughters is 8 years old and this is what we do....even my younger 2 are into these activities.
  • I workout in the morning, but nothing as early as a lot of people here. my routine is #1 coffee #2 kids breakfast and off to school #3 exercise which usually ends up happening around 8:30-9:00 am.
  • Absolutely! Cutting sugar, restricting "fun foods", eating very little fat...etc is a recipe for failure. I lost all my baby weight (3 x's) from eating what I like in moderation.
  • Truth. Just going for walks baby wearing or with the stroller is a great start to exercising again. I didn't join a gym until LO was 5 months old, so can't offer any other suggestions. At this stage sleep was priority #1 for me.
  • Your body only needs so much protein. Excess protein will do nothing extra for your body, it just turns into sugar anyways. Protein is more satiating, so for some people protein would be the better choice, but it's a personal preference.
  • In what way? If you are short on protein for the day then the protein bar would be better, but if you aren't it's not going to make a difference.
  • You will not gain muscle no matter how much protein you are eating if you are not lifting weights AND in a caloric surplus
  • Two slices of pizza is not a cheat, if you are feeling sick after maybe something went bad that was on the pizza.
  • Yes this. I tried eliminating sugar for a while, didn't last long and ended in a lovely binge of ice cream, cookies and chocolate. Oh well lesson learnt. Now I eat everything in moderation and have found I don't get hangry anymore.
  • I would honestly just try everything. My kids don't have a milk allergy, but they've had almond milk, soy milk, cashew milk, rice milk, goat milk, quinoa milk.....if you can milk it they have drunk it. FWIW they're favourite has been almond milk.
  • I go on a small deficit, set MFP to lose .5 lbs a week, exercise like I usually do so I can eat a little more and don't put much more thought into it.
