  • Hi from Australia!
  • The very real issue for women is that our bodies fluctuate. Water retention, time of the month.... I was disheartened this morning to learn that after 10 days of good eating and excercise, I put on 100gms. Ridiculous to firstly be worried but equally frustrating when results are anticipated and not come to fruition.…
  • Two years on.... The journey continues. I've put on a few kgs. Life just took over. I'm not where I was but realise that the battle with the bulge continues
  • So wonderful! So happy for you. It is great seeing young guys become their full potential! Or anyone for that matter. Really, well done and I hope that the changes you have made impact someone else in a positive way! So glad that you will continue on to live a happy healthy life - in awe!
  • New goals are also helpful in maintaining weight! You could try a new sport or a new hobby or introduce one small change to your current diet. I have found having small goals (i.e. I'll drink a glass of water before each meal or I'll do 5 more reps of that one exercise I struggle with) helps to keep you in the right head…
  • Hugs to all! Fantastic results. So great to see the pride on everyone's faces when they know they look smokin'! Oh geez, I only just realised that this is where ppl post their happy snaps. Doh!
  • Thank you. I know it isn't the big numbers of others but that doesn't matter. I think it is more important to feel as good as you can with what you've got. It is hard to lose weight regardless of your size so I say well done to anyone who makes the effort, if I can do some small changes then anyone can.
  • I am 154cm (nearly 5'1") And weigh 48kg (105lbs I think). Before and after shots indicate a weight loss of about 10kgs. However I have more muscle than ever before. Just take small steps, you'll see small changes and overtime bigger ones.
  • Brilliant! Keep it up, don't stop!
  • Amazing! It's a different you entirely!
  • Whoa! You look amazing. So pleased for you! P.s How did you get the pictures to sit closely together? I've just posted a transformation and its all over the shop!
  • Getting back to the first comment, I also notice they are smaller and er, more frequent!
  • I was dead against Paleo when a a Crossfit trainer talked about it's benefits to me. 'What about dairy?' - was my main concern. It is interesting how quickly the body adjusts and how much more alive I feel having adopted probably a 85/15 rule over paleo vs other foods. No allergies, I just feel better and digest things…
  • Get an obento box with sections in it and just add last nights dinner or any left over bits in fridge/cupboard that need to be used up. i.e grapes, nuts, left over roast veg, cut up meats, dried fruits..... The more colourful the better. I use this every day and the plastic box folds up into itself once emptied. You feel…
  • Yep, loosing weight and keeping it off with a small frame is hard. I used to weigh 60kgs, am now at 49kgs. At 154cm I'm not sure what the "correct weight" should be, I guess it comes down to how far you want to take things and where you feel comfortable. The BMI index can help you decide where you want to be. To loose the…
  • Wow 5ft and 42-43kg! That is small. I am 5ft 1 weighing 49-51kg. Although I am a bit older than you. I'd like to get to 45kg but struggle to stay within the 1200+ exercise calorie control. It would be useful to learn more about body recomposition. Doesn't that just make you more hungry? I work out quite a bit and find low…
  • Yeah. Moderation @Kimberly_Harper sighing
  • I had no idea of the fat and calorie content of nuts until getting onto MFP. I have since cut them out and replaced with fruit. But.... Now my sugar levels are up! Not sure what is a safe replacement. Nuts are so fattening and having around 60gms a day blew my diet out the wall.
