Hi Kathy. Potatoes are low FODMAP so on their own they shouldn't be causing much for bloating depending on how much you're eating and how you're eating them. I am a big advocate that potatoes are actually good for you as long as you're not mashing them with butter and heavy cream or deep frying them, lol.

I've been out of work (I'm a server/bartender) since early on and while I had it in my mind that I was going to use this time to lose weight and develop good habits, I have not. I basically drink black coffee until dinner time then I switch to wine and wine means night…

Welcome! I'm looking to lose probably close to 40lbs, depending on how I feel once I do start losing. I'm definitely sedentary being out of work due to Covid and night snacking is my NEMESIS so those are things I definitely need to work on. Happy to be friends if you're interested. I have four boys so my stomach is definitely not in the best shape! Before children I gained 100% in my thighs, hips and butt, but after children I carry a lot of weight in my stomach instead :(

I find that I struggle the most with the mental aspect of weight loss than the working out or eating. It's hard. It can be overcome, though!

Welcome and Happy Belated Mother's Day! I have four boys who feel like eight sometimes ranging from 5-15. Kudos to you for having all those littles all at once! Whew. I'm looking to lose probably close to 40lbs, depending on how I'm feeling as I go.
