College 15, Covid 25

Just stepped on a scale for the first time in months. I was already aiming to lose 15 lbs., but quarantine food and drinks has led to adding another 10! 🙃 It’s like college all over but I am older so it is harder to lose. Damn.

I work full-time with two great kids and have a wonderful man in my life who also has two great kids. And truly, the 6 of us have been making the most of this strange world we are in and I am so grateful for our time together. Unfortunately-that has included too much food and too much vino!

I would like to get focused and back to my healthy weight goal. I would love it if my pants were loose again... The challenge I have is my lack of self discipline with others. If I were alone, working out and eating right is easy. When I am with a group I tend to do what they are doing. As in, if the kids eat pizza, mama eats the pizza. If my boyfriend pours a lovely IPA, I can’t pass it up.

HELP!

I'm thinking I'm probably +10lbs since March, too. I've been out of work (I'm a server/bartender) since early on and while I had it in my mind that I was going to use this time to lose weight and develop good habits, I have not. I basically drink black coffee until dinner time then I switch to wine and wine means night time snacking. Especially when my four boys are asking for peanut butter cookies and banana splits. Oops. lol.
