I wasn't prescribed the suppliments - MFP showed I was getting about 2mg daily and I was feeling the things that iron deficiency causes, so I bought iron suppliments of my own accord. I will however take no board what you're saying. Potentially healthy enough to carry on this way until I get to a lower weight. Will check…

I haven't been to my doctor, but will definitely do that as soon as possible. maxit, I've changed my diary settings now to public, it was on friends only, sorry about that. You should be able to see it now.

I agree with strong_curves - I think 2.2lbs is very good.

I would really like to know the answer to this too. I did notice my weight rose a little in the hot weather, but it could have been for any number of reasons.

What are you all talking about?

Eat whatever the f*** you want and if he disapproves, don't go on a second date. You deserve someone who isn't a judgmental twerp.

I definitely see a difference! Well done! You're doing great :)

You're wonderful :)

I'd go to your doctor anyway, just to be sure. I haven't experienced anything like that!

I do meditate but the only time I've heard of it in reference to dieting is in terms of eating mindfully and experiencing everything you eat. I will check out that story you refer to. That aside, I think there's a lot to be said for loving yourself first and foremost. It makes you realise that you deserve to be healthy.…

I started losing weight a month ago, and have lost 8 pounds in that time. So around 2 pounds a week in that time (this week I lost 3 and my first week I lost 1) Fat is around 60g, protein also around 60g and carbs about 175g. Yes, I do work out. My goal on MFP is 1.5 per week. I did try the 2lb but was always hungry. I…

Well, obviously the actual bone won't shrink. Any fat around the area will disappear, and assuming you're doing strength training too, the muscle will become more defined. It can change the shape quite a bit, but it varies from person to person.

I was so confused until I realised you're talking about American sizes.

Great, thanks!

That makes a lot of sense, I think you're probably right. Thank you! I haven't been working out too intensely, just doing what I can, so I can't imagine I'm gaining too quickly. Last week I could only lift 5kg in an arm curl for 10 reps, this week I can lift 10 for 15. Is that too quick a progression?

Oh, okay! How odd. I thought stretch marks were caused by, well, stretching. Apparently not the case! Thanks for your reply :)

If it's over-exertion, can I train my body to get used to working out at that level to the point where I won't get a stitch, or is that a too simplified way of looking at it?

Thanks, that was pretty useful! Will have to try that tip about exhaling as you land on the opposite foot.

Don't be a jerk. People make mistakes. I'm glad there are people on this forum who can correct mine.

Thanks for asking this, I was wondering myself!

My carbs for today is 258 and protein 103, calories 2060 but yesterday it was 2563 - I've been consistently quite far under it so I guess that's why there's such a difference. By looking at the diary I noticed that the high-fat stuff is when I'm in a rush and cook something fast - I end up making choices like sausage rolls…

I don't have any specific medical reason, I just find myself always going over the limits for fat, even if I have loads of everything else left at the end of the day. It's set up at 80, and I usually go over by about 20.
