  • Depending on your height, it may be that you are eating to little. I have had the experience of increasing my claories with more protein and then loosing more. Each body is different. Are you drinking lots of water?
  • Welcome Eileen I'm trying to loose too. My commitment today is to weigh and measure my food. MFP is one of the best tools and it does work Keep checking in. Doing this with others is totally important and you are as some for taking the first big step!
  • You really sound committed. I agree that doing exercise that you find boring is not the way to be successful. You need to enjoy what you are doing, utherwise you will not keep it up. What about walking somewhere that is pretty and peaceful. Or joining a group at a gym? These can also be hard to fit into your schedule, but…

  • So helpful. Yes am eating the 5+ of veggies. Water and exercise. Stress at work is my challenge. Right now I'm on vacation for 1 week, so I can make a good start. Thanks again.
  • Hi I have also used MFP off and on and have joined this group for the same reason. We are on different sides of this world yet can reach out and support each other...so cool! It is evening here and Spring has finally arrived after such a long winter.

  • I too am in need of support and friends. I'M 64 and it's much harder at an older age to loose weight. Having MFP to focus on instead of food is a help.
  • From Franconia, NH
  • Me too. 64 and needing to lose 20. Trying to bring my blood pressure down.
