I am a 2 year survivor, and I gained a lot of weight while going through chemo. The doctor's are not concerned with weight loss, but I was. It was devastating to be going through this crap and have the weight pile on every week. There was nothing I could do. I had issues with my tongue reacting to the treatment (my tongue,…

This year we are having lasagna with homemade noodles, salad, french bread and lots of dessert, wine and booze!
-
I was able to do a strict press today that was my old push press one rep max. So, I'll take it!
-
I did 14 unbroken DU's! And, 5 strict pullups in a row!!
-
Sure! I workout 4-6 days a week. I can run a 5k and my time gets better each time. I can deadlift more than my body weight and I'm improving all the time. Yeah, I'd say I'm fit!

a morningstar black bean burger with a slice of sharp ultra thin cheddar cheese, dijon mustard, tomato slices on nature's thin bread.

Well, I was hurting when I was done, so my body is most definitely trying to repair itself. But dangit, the scale going up stinks! ha

Thanks, I'm not completely freaked out. I know it's water weight, but I wasn't expecting such a huge increase. And, I know I didn't hit my required water intake.

I really needed a laugh this afternoon, and this did it! haha

Group classes are my favorite! Having a group of people who will give me a hard time if I don't show up, is amazing! And, then I feel guilty if I'm not there. But it's good guilt!

It's why I do classes. I like the accountability for showing up and being there, but I'm not held to being there if work gets busy. I know if I miss more than one or two classes, I'll be getting text messages and FB messages wondering where I am!

Honestly, it was chemotherapy and the steroids associated with the treatment. I like to say I'm the only person who got fat on chemo! haha 18 months post chemo, I'm finally losing!

4-5 days a week at the gym. My goal is 5, but work sometimes gets in the way. Then I try to get in one weekend fun. So I'd say I'm hitting 4-6 days a week on average!

Twice a day. Once in the morning which is what I use to see where I stand. And again at night before my 'dessert' to see how much I gained throughout the day, so I can guess on my morning weight loss.

I have a desk job. I take my lunch break at the gym. I pack my lunches so I'm not tempted to grab take out. I drink my morning coffee and then water all day. It's really about deciding to make different choices. Good luck!

I'm aiming for a pants size of 6/8. If I don't lose another pound, but drop the two pants sizes, I'd be happy!
-
I was at 8 pounds lost when someone other than people who knew I was losing weight commented! But, I lose weight in my face first, so it's not a surprise!
-
Chemotherapy. I was within 5 pounds of my goal, one pant size, and cancer struck. The steroids they put me on caused my to pack on 45 pounds. It's been a battle, but 16 months after treatment ended, I'm finally losing weight again!

I'm also on the 40 pound weight loss!
