Protein powder and water is pretty obvious. I don't know about anyone else here but I find that any powders I have tried have a funny taste to them so I like to add other things to mask that.

I have been considering making overnight oats for a while now but never got around to it. Can anyone tell me what the texture is like? I like my oats well cooked so they arent "chewy" or only feel partially cooked. Is that an issue with the overnight ones at all?

I make chocolate coffee protein shakes. I don't have chocolate Protein powder so I use vanilla. 8oz chocolate soy milk 1/2 tbsp of peanut butter 1 tsp of instant coffee 1 scoop of vanilla whey powder. I am canadian so there's no need to try and convince me about milk. You can make your own choices based on the milk you have available to you :)

This is what my good friend, who is a personal trainer, has told me. Figure out what you need to consume to maintain your weight and then deduct a 4 or 5 hundred calories a day from that number. 1200 or 1300 calories is way too few calories.
