Welcome back! I started back about three weeks and have been consistent every since. We got this!

If you have the nutrition information of the food, you can add a new food and input the accurate information for yourself. Most of the food in the database are inputted by users ( to my understanding) so they may not have the nutritional information.

You can do it!

This is truly inspiring. I'll be 40 in August. I'm at my heaviest now. At 200lbs. Like you, I have seen far to many family decline or die relatively young by not prioritizing their health. I'm determined to succeed and live and thrive. I have a 5 year old and she is my biggest inspiration every day. Thanks for sharing!

This is my 3rd and hopefully final go round with MyFitnessPal pal. Each time I have been able to successfully lose weight and even keep it off for a while when I log in my maintenance calories. I've found I'm not as successful when I don't use MFP mostly I easily began to overestimate how much IM eating and have zero…

If you don't require the bells and whistles a Fitbit will do just fine such as a versa 2, however Fitbit is known to have a low lifespan on their devices. if you want all the bells and whistles, notifications , more apps and things of that nature a smart watch is more the way to go, however they're not known to have the…

I miss when I didn't have to look at the size of clothes and I also miss wearing size 7 jeans! Also, over all I was just more satified with how I looked. Currently 183 lbs. First goal weight is 160, then down to 140.

There is an article of about Fitbit users gaining weight after relying on Fitbit too heavily. Personally I don'teat back any steps Fitbit gives me anymore. I was hovering at the same weight eating Fitbit Walking calories. Only manually log purposely exercise now.
-
This also goes to show why Fitbit user tend to put on more weight because they are fooling themselves with these little cheats.
-
I never have understood why people insists on getting steps for an activity that doesn't have steps involved. Youre truly cheating yourself that way as its not at all accurate.
-
Mtp activity levels don't include purposely exercise. So the daily life things like grocery shopping, walking around work, etc are included. When in doubt, just set it to sedentary.

Feel free to add me!!!

Im lightly active Mon-Thursday, as I average over 7000 to 9000 steps, but Friday-Sunday I tend to be more sedentary with 5000 steps or fewer. I have a premium account so I'm able to adjust my daily calorie needs accordingly

I have a Fitbit blaze and I start it myself when class starts under cardio. Or you can automatically let it log.

Good for you. Do you want a cookie? I can do everything you do and still enjoy my Zumba. Thank you very much.

I've lost weight before without a Fitbit. I know I could motivate myself and lose weight again this time around without a Fitbit as well. However, it does motivate me a little more and it makes the weight loss journey a little more fun this time.

Chest strap as still the most accurate in terms of measuring heart rate, but really, only those with training goals or are super ocd with accuracy will invest in them. Like some others have stated, if you are only interested in walking, dont bother with the bells and whistles. Personally, the only reason I got my Fitbit…

If you message me your Fitbit email it username I will add you!

If the problem persists definitely contact Fitbit, it might be faulty and they are good at sending out replacement.
