You will do it. I like lifting weights but being a girl feel unconfortable at the gym unless i have a workout partner.

Thanks to everyone for there input. I am going to go see a nutritionist just to be sure but mostly i am cutting out foods and slowly adding back for many reasons. think some food groups or combos might be causing issues. (Like food allergies) Kind of doing this like when u start a baby on solids you don't give them…

No before this week i was eating 1300 to 1400 but often times carb heavy quick and easy stuff now i am shooting for 11 to 1200 and no processed stuff

I am 5'5" and i have a stuborn metabolism. I figure i will fluctuate between 1100 and 1200 calories so far this week its been fine. I think smaller portions more often has helped with cravings.

I wasn't using a food scale but i am now. I do 2 4oz servings of protein (meats), 3 servings of fruit (preferably lower glycemic), 3 6 oz servings of vegitables (no potatoes). I started taking vitamins and am avoiding sugars. Also decreasing breads. I think i get enough usually 1100 calories a day.

My son is a type 2 diabetic he keeps it under control with diet but can't commit to vegan completely. Would love to be friends.

This site is really good lots of supportive helpful others all trying to do the same thing. I had lost 70 lbs but resently due to stress and bad habits put 20ish back on. I am working to lose the 20 plus 20 more if i can stay focused. You can add me as a friend if you would like.

Thanks i will and have been. I just need to find a gym partner i think i would do better if i had someone to be accountable.

Swimming is the best and least damaging. I have a knee injury also but i keep going to the gym and yoga and even martial arts.

Thanks i took all of you guys advise i am sucking it up and not feeling sorry for myself. Started fresh with weighing in and eating today (10/1). Figured the first day of a new month things will start turning around.
