  • Hi, I've just started hipcentric meta again after not doing much exercise for ages... Love the burn!
  • These sound really good, I can't wait to try the recipe. Any idea where I can get psyllium husk powder in the UK? Holland and Barrett's maybe?
  • Hey! I'm so happy there are still some TAM fans out there! I want to get started on metamorphosis again tomorrow, I've found that it really works for me and I enjoy the workouts but I need the motivation of being in a group. Let's post regularly for encouragement! :)
  • Good luck with your research!
  • OK, I didn't know about this! Explains why the last two times I went drinking after low carbing I got completely smashed... Still no hangover though, I think I vomited enough to get rid of a lot of the booze. Sorry, TMI!

  • @pedidiva that video was useful! I want to stay low carb for life, it just works for me and now that I don't feel like I have to eat loads of protein I find it much more enjoyable as well. When I get to maintenance I'll add occasional fruit and wine but hopefully I will never go back to the way I was eating. When you think…
  • I'm loving this group as well! Feel free to add me!
  • I'm also trying to eat LCHF, but I'm also pescatarian so maybe fairly different again!
  • Hi, I'm quite close. HW: 143 CW: 136 GW: 120 I'm 36 and a mum of 2 boys. I'm currently not drinking just to stay low carb and get a bit more toned for summer. I find it so easy to get into the habit of having a beer or a glass of wine every night, but I'm trying to stay strong!
  • Mine is currently about 24%, according to scales. I'd like to get to 18-19%, I'm pretty sure that's when I'll be down a dress size.
  • I bought the strips! It is reassuring that they have been showing more ketones each day (day 3-6 of <30g carbs a day), but I only use them first thing in the morning. I'm now familiar with the weird taste in my mouth so I can probably just use that, but it was nice to have the confirmation.
  • I'm going to stick to less than 50g of carbs a day, even when I go out, that's usually the big problem for me! I already get some exercise every day, at least walking the dogs, but I easily go on a binge if I have too many carbs and my challenge is to avoid that.
  • Hi! I joined the low carb daily forum as well, which is full of links and advice and a very active group. A bit meat-minded though! I am mostly veggie but occasionally eat tuna and salmon, a bit more often at the moment in order to get into and stay in ketosis and get enough protein. I did low carb vegetarian diet for…

  • My scale only works on the kitchen floor, the carpet and laminate floor elsewhere in the house are too soft so the readings are off! So I can only weigh on a Wednesday morning when I go to work late and the kids are out of the house to avoid them walking in on me naked...
  • I've been off the wagon for a few days as well, because of parties, meals out etc. I am not confident enough to just tell other people how I am trying to eat and I have hang-ups from when I had to clear my plate as a child so that when people tell me to eat I just do... Not doing the same to my kids! And I've got my meals…
  • Ooh, hello! I was actually giving up, can't do it on my own and have just been really tired for a few days, but I'll get back in there! Add me as friend and we can motivate each other!
  • Still going! Cardio power and recovery today, and it did feel a little easier than last week! Anyone else out there?
  • When I've done low carb before, it's taken a week or 2 to get over the cravings, but then it really gets easier and the diet actually suppresses your appetite (when 'm eating low carb is the only time I'm not constantly obsessed with food!). My problem is sticking to it through social situations, I always end up eating…
  • Wow, great results! :)
  • Hi, I'm fairly new on here and am also looking for motivation and accountability buddies! Feel free to add me!
  • Thanks for the encouragement! Currently enjoying my rest day :)
  • Hi, I live in Wales, feel free to add me!
  • Well done for the 3 weeks, KingsGirl4  I've finished the first week and am still feeling motivated (and in pain!).
  • Add me! I've started on mfp this week and am looking forward to giving and receiving support!
  • Ainhoalndurain, I'm the same day as you! :p I log it based on what hrm said first time, but I don't eat any more than I would otherwise, I just like the huge calorie deficit!
  • I started Monday and am feeling the pain! Want to share results?
  • I've just started it as well and have created my own workout for it. I used a heart rate monitor and it said about 400 cal. Love the workout though my thighs and shoulders are killing me! :)
