I guess it depends on what part he'll be in and what kind of PX he'll have access to to buy things. My husband is currently at a smaller, more remote base, so he doesn't have access to much in the way of basic supplies. I send him shampoo/body wash, deoderant. Razors are really hard to come by, so ask what kind of those he…

I always plan my meal before I go. Even if it was a spur of the moment thing, I look up the nutritional info on my phone. I order water to drink and drink lots of it to help myself feel full. Normally when I'm eating out, I'm with someone else so I focus on the conversation and eat slowly, too.

Made this tonight and it was yummy! I'll definitely be making it again. I wish I could add more veggies to it, but my kids are way too picky for me to add chopped peppers or anything else. I think it'd also be good with broccoli.

Thanks for sharing! I think I'll make some this weekend!

Just keep on going, Chris. Do what you can do and don't worry about the rest. Gotta let your knee heal so you can keep going even after TBL is over. You never know how everyone else is going to do, so you just might be safe this week. So far, I'm feeling good about my chances to stay another week. This morning the scale…

We did it! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!! So glad we're all safe for another week. Now, let's all kick the crap outta the scale this week so we can stay a little longer! We're almost to the end!

Just wanted to let everyone know it got submitted on time. I just didn't get a chance to log back on here last night to let everyone know. So no worries, Tira and Don got it one time. I hope ours wins! I'd love for us all to have immunity this week!

Okay, I'll use the peppers and carrots. Would cauliflower go well with hummus? I usually eat mine on a pita pocket.
-
Okay, I added the pumpkin bread with cream cheese as a dessert and/or snack. However they'd like to eat it. That brings us to 1270 cals. So how about an afternoon snack? I like the hummus. What kind of veggies with it??

Those look good! I'm going to figure it all out now with calories and then I'll figure in snacks and maybe a dessert.
-
How many snacks are we supposed to include? I know it's for a 1400 cal day, but I don't think there were specifics? I'll take care of the info for the dinner with the chili, and I'll see if I can find a good recipe for cornbread that's healthy and low cal. Anyone else want to tackle info for breakfast and lunch? I also…

The chili recipe is on skinnytaste.com, but I modified it. For the ingredients I used, the nutrition facts are: 215 cal, 26 carbs, 5 fat, 21 protein, 614 sodium. That's a 1 cup serving. I think the lettuce wraps are a great idea for lunch. I don't have a tried and true tuna salad recipe, though. Breakfast--I like the eggs.…

One idea I have for dinner is white bean pumpkin chili. Bonus is hidden veggies with the pumpkin. It's super easy to make--just fry some turkey and dump it in the crock pot with the rest of the ingredients. No making multiple dishes. Just serve with some FF sour cream and/or shredded cheese if you want. What do you all…

Okay, hopefully everyone found this thread. What are everyone's ideas for our menu? I can collect the info and send it to Don/Tira by Friday deadline. I'm thinking we need to make it relatively simple ingredients wise, and keep it something that most everyone would like to eat. So ideas? Ready, Set, Go!

I hope I survive this week. I lost over a pounds, but you just never know how that'll hold up against everyone else. I'm hoping we lost 25 so no one goes. And even better would be 40 so we can bring Kristy back!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I hope both make it....I keep checking to see if it's posted yet. I'm anxious. I'm sure you'll be safe! You did such an awesome job with the burpees, and you know you did them so that's what matters. And I believe you too!
-
Wow. Looks like almost everyone had a rough week with the scale. I hope I'm not going home. I know I'd be safe with my loss, but made I was out burpeed? I'm anxious to see the episode tomorrow. How many people are going? The bottom 6?
-
Amazing! You look wonderful! Keep it up!

I did not do well with the Burpees. They're really hard on my knees. I ended up with a sad 72. I feel pretty much like a failure on that front. But....I did lose 3.8 this week, so I'm hoping that's enough to keep me safe. I'm really happy about my loss this week. i think starting C25K shocked my body, and I had a small…

So, these Burpees can go flly a kite. 'Nuff said.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Kristi, I'm soooo bummed!!!!! Gosh darn it anyways. I was so hoping we'd all make it through this week. I know you're not in anymore, but please stick with us! You're so encouraging, and I loved being on your team. Chris, we GOT this! We have to keep on making in through so Team Yellow represents at…

I knew my sit ups would probably be my only way for immunity. The plus side is my son now thinks doing sit ups is fun. And he loves holding my feet while I do them. LOL! I think my stomach muscles are ready to revolt, though. They've been dormant for so long. Haha!
-
My push ups were awful. LOL! I did 20 a day. I broke my wrist in HS playing volleyball, and I have no strength in it. Sit ups--I did 100 at a time 5x a day, so I'm hoping that's enough to get me through. By the 5th rep of 100, I was cursing Don. LOL!
-
Well, I'm not doing so well. Ugh. I've been eating right and exercising everyday, and I'm up 2 pounds. WTH?????? I'm so disheartened right now. I've only lost like 4 pounds so far this entire month. Last month I lost almost 15. What gives? I feel like crying. And no, my TOM isn't supposed to start any time soon. I've been…

I'm focusing on sit ups and the running. I think my running will be the only way I'll gain immunity and beat Don. My treadmill is like a new toy, and I'm excited to use it. The novelty may wear off, but it sure did arrive on a good week for the challenge. My mile time earlier was 16:32. Today was 16 even. So my 5K should…

Thanks for saving me. I'm grateful! I need a challenge this week to keep my mind off things. Push ups aren't my best, but I will rock the sit ups, and my treadmill gets here tomorrow, so I'll be doing my 5K daily. We GOT this, Team Yellow! I don't want anyone to go this week! And I'll be checking in daily now that things…
