  • You might not be eating enough. Also, try only weighing yourself once a week. My weight changes so much day to day
  • Thanks that helps a lot!
  • Also, congrats on your weight loss! I too want to be able to say I’ve lost 100 lbs, and I’ve got 30 more to go!
  • I can totally relate with everything you have just said. At the end of the day, I just want something that is going to be sustainable long term- and restricting certain foods or macros only causes me to binge. Before I had my son I lost 60 lbs from calorie counting. Since having him I’ve lost it mostly from whole30, and…
  • Exactly why I decided to quit keto. Honestly I have lost weight from calorie counting, WW, whole30, and now keto. I don’t think it really matters, but I’m with you in the fact calorie counting is more sustainable. I won’t go the rest of my life without eating bread or yogurt or whatever.
  • Should I put my carbs at 40% instead of 50%
  • I’m hoping so. I have heard it doesn’t matter as long as your in a calorie deficit. Hoping this is true.
  • How do I do this slowly?
  • Thank You for all of the responses. It's just a little different for me to think about eating back calories because prior to having my son I lost 60 pounds, and I never ate back any calories I burned. So that is something that I'm a little apprehensive about.
  • Is there a way to take off the extra calories it adds? I still want it to count my steps but not add the calories I've "burned"
  • Thanks for the info!
  • I'm sorry you kinda confused me. I did put my activity level at sedentary but wasn't planning on taking into account any calories burned from just walking. I plan on working out 3-5 days a week. So I guess maybe I just shouldn't pay attention to it, and I'm wondering how accurate the steps are anyway.
  • Thank you for the help! And yes I am on medication for it, and when I told her about me not losing weight her only advice was for me to start eating 800 calories a day! So needless to say that didn't help much :/
  • I use a food scale, yes.
  • I would like help but not bashing and people making fun of me. That's not why I'm on here. I want to start lifting but really don't know where to begin with it. Last time when I lost the weight only did cardio and no weight training. I also have a underactive thyroid
  • Funny, I lost 60 pounds and at that time I didn't know this app existed
  • I DO NOT EAT BACK ANY EXERCISE CALORIES BECAUSE I HAVE NO CLUE HOW MANY I BURNED. I strictly eat 1600 calories and that's it. I like to write stuff down more than putting it on here. That's it. I know exactly what I eat, and how much. There's no over eating or eating back any other calories.
  • I log on here sometimes but I also have a journal I use. I'm just trying to eat healthier I guess I should've said. When I lost the 60 pounds before my son, I ate alot of tv dinners and 100 calorie packs. I still lost the weight, but I want to take a more healthy approach, that's all. And I'm not estimating how much I burn…
  • Like I've said i know what I need to do. I have been eating 1600 calories a day for almost 4 weeks now(eating clean), drinking a gallon of water a day, and working out 5 days a week, and BOOM! I haven't even lost a pound. It's very discouraging. I'm doing all the same things I did before I had my son and was very…
  • I'm well aware of what I NEED to do. That I don't need help on, I lost 60 pounds on my own before I had my son. I'm just having a harder time trying to loose the weight. All I wanted was reviews on this book. Not someone telling me how to lose weight. These community posts meant to help people and encourage people, or at…
  • I am a believer in anything can work. I've counted calories, done carb cycling, IIFYM, weight watchers, and have lost weight by all of that. I wasn't aware the FMD, was that low in calories, so in that case I won't try it, was just curious if anyone had done it, and wanted to know more about it, don't need rude comments.…
  • Exactly my thought too. I'm no doctor but that number of calories just seems dangerously low. That is not good practice and she clearly knows nothing about nutrition. I told her if I start eating 1000 cals a day I'll have nothing to work with. I'm not gonna go down to like 600 calories a day
  • Like on a plate, on your food scale
  • Silly question but how do you weigh the peanut butter? Do you just put it like on a plate? I usually just use the tablespoon that comes with my measuring cups
  • Do you guys think I should add in more weight training? I workout 5 days now but it's all mostly cardio. Two classes I do have weights involved
  • Thank you everyone this is all very useful!!
  • I'll try that! I'm just still kinda new to it all. The first time I lost weight it was so much easier. There would be weeks I'd lose 3-4 pounds a week, and I'm doing the same things I did then. So when I use my scale and have it in grams, how do I put it in here so I know the calories? Because I usually just search and…
  • I don't weigh food if I can look at the label and know how many calories it is, I don't need to weigh my quest bars it says on the package there 190 calories. I'm talking about fruit, veggies, chicken, stuff like that
  • 100 grams? Idk why it says that lol I just choose the ones that say there the closes to that size. Like 1 large banana. For the turkey bacon I don't measure that because 1 slice is 25 calories so I obviously know 4 slices is 100 calories
  • I think I changed it now
