I'm a 6 ft 3 man. To the people who say if you do a deficit you will definitely lose weight, I used to basically starve myself and was hardly losing any weight at all. I started losing weight when I ate MORE...and particularly when I started cycling carbs/calories. I'll go through everything in this topic properly tomorrow.

Apart from Friday/Saturday, I eat no chocolate at all. I only drink water and meticulously weigh/track every single item I consume. Yes I did them for years but I kept getting injured because I have joint hypermobility. Last year I had an MRI scan which showed three bulging discs in my back. So I just gave up altogether. I would like to go back at some point but for now I am just sticking to exercises/stretches given by my physio.

Calories in/out, cardio being a relevant component.

Thanks - I don't necessarily agree that simply eating less would make me lose more weight. When I was at a huge deficit I was not losing weight.
