@AnvilHead yes might have to start doing that!

Always one unhelpful response! If you can't say anything helpful don't bother to respond please
-
Thank you @MegaMooseEsq and @AnnPT77 for your very motivational and inspirational responses! I have been referred back to that strength training link a few times but all the links seem to lead to websites where you have to pay to sign up or purchase books?? I couldn't find just a straight forward training plan? I am now…

Thanks Ritzvin, where can I get the Clif bars from?
-
Thank you, yes I find them quite filling which is why I like them and obviously they have got to be better than a chocolate bar or bag of crisps! Was just worried about the fat content and sugar content mainly. Would really like to try the whole Macro thing, I have heard great things but can't get my head around it as I am…

Thank you Roda Rose very helpful :)

I was eating lots more Protein and then I read I should only be eating about 70g a day and was eating too much! It's so confusing as there are so many contradictory articles on it! Also I have been within or under my calorie goal every day but not lost any weight :( not sure if going to the gym means I may be putting on…

Thanks for your reply, I have to say I find the IIFYM thing a bit confusing! It is easier for me to count calories and I do look at the protein, carbs and fat goals on my fitness pal to make sure I am staying within the recommended range
-
Thanks @KAZD44 I'm not logging milk in tea actually but yes logging everything else but like some people have said as I am not weighing everything I may be underestimating some weights and calories. I will stick with it and see if it kicks in! Fingers crossed!

Has anyone tried the lean in 15? I want to give it a go but am vegetarian and have heard alot of the recipes are meat
-
Thanks @Samanthancuriel I will try that too, are there any good websites to tell you which measurements to record?
-
I drink a few cups of tea and perhaps one coffee through out the day? My main drawback drinks wise is not drinking water, I know I need to but I really struggle with it!! And yes @dutchandkiwi I think what has happened to you has happened to me too, hopefully it will put itself right soon!

Thank you Danietta, I will measure out everything to see if I am under estimating the calories. I don't eat back the calories I burn and I am eating less calories than I was before, not just eating healthily. I have heard you can gain muscle weight when you start to go to the gym but I thought as I've only been going for a…

I use a food scale to measure out the porridge oats, and couscous but not for the veg - would you recommend weighing everything?
-
Thanks all, what are these macro and micro targets everyone has mentioned?
-
Thanks both, what are lentil chips out of interest and where can I find them?

I am not pregnant, I suspect it may be water retention then - how do I avoid this? Drink lots of water? Also if I think about it what I have said above only tends to apply Mon-Fri and Fri night/Saturday night I tend to like my wine and the odd bit of bread (as I don't usually eat bread in the week) - so maybe that's it?…

About 1300 calories a day, I have lost NO weight through this at all. Activity level is gym classes / workouts 3-4 times a week for an hour a time
-
I only weigh my porridge as it's hard to estimate how much 40g is. I don't weigh lunch as it is just salad leaves and eggs and dinner is usually quorn which I know the calories for and veg which isn't too calorific. I will try drinking more water to see if that helps, can't think what else I am doing wrong
-
I'm a vegetarian so was adding in the protein powder for extra protein and read that it was good for helping see results at the gym
-
Thank you both :) I do weigh my breakfast in the morning, I don't weigh my lunch or dinners though. I log everything in my fitness pal and don't eat back all the calories I have burned. If anything I think I eat very little in the day and then a big meal in the evening as I get really hungry, it's usually healthy but maybe…
