I’m 5’4. I didn’t know I was short. :D I’m trying to lose 30 lbs. :)

Good luck. I look forward to reading more about your journey.

MFP just recalculate me at 1200 food calories. I made it only because I went for a walk and did some housework that really got my heart rate up. The only way I can stay within my calorie goal is too exercise otherwise I go over. If I’m sick I’m way under my calorie goal and MFP will not give me a weight projection. I…

It does get tough. My goal is to stay committed to logging. I figure the rest will come. I usde to get frustrated if I went over my calorie goal and stop logging. This time around I’m going to make sure I keep logging. :)

I think logging your food with moderate exercise can help you manage your weight. It may be a challenge with wedding celebrations. Just remember self care. I imagine a person with a small frame can see a difference with the slightest weight change. Congratulations on your marriage.

Clothes. I love clothes. I went down a size. I’ve been wearing my new smaller size jeans a lot to stay motivated. :)

Perhaps your calorie count is too low with your amount of exercise and your body is in starvation mode. I don’t know if that’s the case but it’s possible.
-
Yes. Congratulations on your progress.

I’m taking it slow. A little frustrating because the results are slow.

I agree with the other comments to see your treatment team. You need someone to look at the big picture and do the lab work. I was 130 and went rapidly to 193 due to health issues. I’m at 165 now. It’s not a good feeling but it’s reversible. It’s tough because weight loss is not a fast process. A gastroenterologist has…

Everybody there had a day 1. We have to start somewhere. Just remember the gym is where we go to get fit. I have gym anxiety too. I was very fit. I had accident and Trumatic experiences and gain a lot of weight. Im back at day 1. It’s hard but keep going. Listening to music or something helps with the anxiety.

It’s hard when our families are not supportive. It helps to surround yourself by others that are supportive of your journey. Our bodies are always changing and may look different day to day for whatever reason. Moms tend to notice and the feedback may not always be welcomed. I read our body image is formed by our mothers…

The FODMAP diet works well with s gluten free diet for me. It helps to identify foods that are difficult to digest causing bloating.

I’m sorry you lost your mother and sister. I lost my mother 2 years ago. Everyday is a struggle. I hope you have supportive people in your life to help you through it.
-
You can do it, Justin.

Trying to keep unhealthy snacks out of the house. Make it inconvenient to get access to them. Out of sight out of mind.

I use my Apple Watch incoronation with my iPhone. It’s syncs pretty well with MFP. You can enter food calories on the Apple Watch and receive MFP notifications.

I think incorporating weight training and anaerobic exercise will help to decrease the amount of loose skin. Also drink lots of water. My mother loss weight in her 40s and she had loose skin but weightlifting took care of that problem. Muscle is heavy so it may impact your weight goal But you lose inches.

I make progress and then self sabotage my progress. I don’t know why we do it. Somehow maybe we feel we don’t deserve it. It’s good do you have a great network of friends that have similar goals to help prevent self sabotage. I tell my friends when I start seeing myself sabotaging my progress and they help to get me back…
