so this should be interesting. My husband has been put on a no bread, no cheese, no milk diet by his doctor for some GI issues he is having. In the interest of not making 2 suppers, I am going along on this diet with him.

Thanks for the tips! It is very feasible to park farther away, as one of the employee parking lots at the hospital is FAR away. Right now, I just park in the closest spot. I don't really get a lunch break every day, but today I did and I decided to go for a walk and just eat my lunch at my desk which was nice.

does anyone else work an office job where they are sitting a large part of the day? I don't sit all day, but I do for a decent part of it. I struggle to get in anywhere close to 10,000 steps and I looking for ways to be more active while at work. Any ideas? thanks!

for 8/6, I said no to the afternoon sweet that was calling my name :) steps so far this month: 8/4 2518 (lazy day) 8/5 4743 8/6 5461 (getting better!) keeping track really makes me aware of how little I am moving when 10,000 is the goal!

I know it's only 1:00 n the first day of the month but I'm feeling really positive about this month. Lunch was full of vegis (which hasn't happened in a while) and I'm on the second bottle of water for today! Hope everyone else is off to a good start!
