Hi @leannev68 ! Thanks so much for joining the group! Looks like you uploaded your info into the Google doc correctly. I set up the spreadsheet so weigh in days are every Saturday, but if your own preferred weigh in day is different, that's fine, just go ahead and input it under that week. For example, if you prefer to…

It's called Alarm Clock Xtreme Free I have the Galaxy s5, so I'm not sure if it's available on the iPhone (if that's what you have). I absolutely love it! And I can set the difficulty of the math problems, so if you wanted harder problems to wake you up, that's definitely an option. You can also edit the number of snoozes.…

What helps me is an alarm app on my phone. I have it set up so the music gradually gets louder, I am only allowed two snoozes, and then I have to do math to turn it off! Forcing my brain to think tends to really wake me up lol.

There is an amazing group for women dealing with PCOS. It has a lot of great information! http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/3070-p-c-o-sis The thing with PCOS is that every woman is different and what works for some may not work for you. It's important to continue tweaking your diet and exercise routine to find…

My biggest obstacle is separating food from my feelings. I need to learn how to not go straight to binge eating eating whenever I'm feeling stressed.

June 2014, my husband and I went to Hawaii for a family reunion. We stayed there for ten days and one of the activities we wanted to do was ziplining across the beautiful Maui mountains. Well, when we went to the little ziplining place, we were each told to get on a scale because they had a strict weight restriction.…

I feel similar, I can't spend money on any new clothes. But, I've read here on MFP that many people head to thrift stores and will buy clothes from there. The clothes are affordable and you can go back in a few months and donate your old clothes and replenish your own! On a personal note, I intend to head to my local…

I love getting up early and going for a jog in a park nearby. There's a pond and lots of trees and it's very relaxing. I started at walking 1 min, jogging 1 min for 30 minutes and have been gradually increasing my jogging time. Afterwards, I do a 55 minute Billy Blanks Tae Bo Bootcamp DVD, and finish off my morning with a…

I like to either meditate for about 20 minutes, or go for a walk, or do something that involves using my hands like painting my nails, crocheting, reading a book, or anything else that will keep my hands away from the kitchen.

Some of my favorite snacks include: - Light & Fit Greek yogurt - Can of tuna mixed with salsa - 1 slice string cheese, halved lengthwise, each half wrapped with two thin slices of turkey breast - 1 low sodium rice cake with 1 Tbsp peanut butter and an apple

Here are some things that have helped me with hunger between snacks and meals: - Drink 8oz water, then wait 20 minutes, if I'm no longer hungry then I was dehydrated, if I'm still hungry, I'll eat a low calorie snack (like sliced veggies) to hold me over until snack/meal time - Make sure my meals and snacks are high in…

Hi, I'm Nicole and am really looking forward to this group! I need all the support I can get. I have had issues with weight my entire life. Last August I weighed in at 234 lbs and got serious about losing weight. I got down to 190 but then gained almost all of it back. A few weeks ago I weighed in at 224 lbs. Looking to…

Hi all, I'm 5'5", currently 210 lbs (SW: 235) and am looking to get down to 150 lbs eventually. I have always had issues with my weight and am looking for some motivation to help keep me on track.

I look at losing weight as 80% diet and 20% exercise. Sure, you can only focus on what you eat, and you'll lose weight, but it might not give you the results you want. Same thing if you only focus on exercise. I believe it takes a healthy combination of the two working together.

Great job! You're such an inspiration!

Congratulations on your weight loss! I have a success board on my wall that lists my rewards. They include: going to a dine-in movie theater, new shoes, new outfit, new running shoes, and a whole new haircut. One reward I achieved was getting a flipbelt for when I go for my morning jog.
