  • AHHHHH SO EXCITED!!! Was dreading my run this morning... Pushed through and went ahead and completed my first 5K on the treadmill with no breaks, no walking and within 30 minutes. I feel like a million bucks!!!!
  • Dreading my run today...but thankful I have legs that carry me through it! Tonight is dinner and drinks with the boyfriend, gotta earn it!
  • Love reading everyone's stories... Keep it up! Am also loving hearing snippets of what you are thankful for or love... Some are small things, some are big things, great reminders of how lush our lives are! Nerve pain be damned! You'll get back to it another day, but you got something in and you are taking the time to enjoy…
  • Read all of your posts and everybody is doing great! The day to day is hard, especially when you're tired or sick (or incredibly sore like I am!) but the end results are worth it. Fell off the wagon last night after a great day of working out with too much wine and cheese :/ but today is a new day so I'll try to keep it…
  • Becky so glad you changed your mind. 5 lbs would be a BIG step for me too as it's been a year since I lost anything. It's a rough journey, that's for sure, and usually it's us holding ourselves back from success. We are here for you. We are here with you.
  • Love this! Trying to get there myself with running, I have little legs too :)
  • Hey everyone! If you haven't joined the group yet, it is set as public, so all you have to do is in the search bar, type in "valentines" and the group will pop up! Just click on that and join! If you really can't find it shoot me a message and I'll make sure you get a personal invite! Gear up for tomorrow and we will set…
  • Hi again! So glad to see everybody checking in here and hearing their goals! I'm really excited for this challenge. I'm going to aim for 5 lbs, my name is Anna btw! Love to see what everyone's workout plan is too. I just started running and I'm definitely one of those people who just isn't meant to run, it's pretty much…
  • Changed the group to public! My bad!!!
  • When I get off work I'll send invites!!!
  • That's awesome, and that's right where I want to be! I will have to be more diligent and I hope the food scale can help. Here's the deal with the wine. I'm a chef. I cook and taste for a living, my boyfriend is a bartender and we both are passionate about wine and craft beer. It's part of my lifestyle. If I gave it up…
  • That's a great link, thanks! The whole decomposition thing <--- LOL! Meant to say REcomposition thing is really interesting, didn't know about that, it's confusing! I'll read up on it, thanks again!
  • I'll try that! I guess at this point it's going to be a bit of tinkering with my workouts/diet instead of just workout and drop pounds. Boo! I like it the easy way!
  • Love pure barre! Found this post because I'm trying to figure out how many calories it burns to log it, I read on the web that it was around 250 and was horrified, glad it's more like 400!!!! I think pure barre is a wonderful add-on to an already active and got lifestyle, but not particularly effective for those trying to…
  • Hey again! I'm logging my wine and trying to fill up on other beverages like unsweetened green tea and le croix waters, water is so boring at dinner. I also did a HUGE grocery shop and stocked up on fish, lean meats and loads of veg to make logging meals easier. My tennis workouts are an hour and I would say moderately…
  • It's interesting, I've always looked at these pounds as something I had to lose, but having outside perspective makes me look at them differently. "Vanity" pounds is 100% accurate. This will have to be tackled as more of a project than just "work out, eat right and drop the pounds" like I did before. I'll look up those…
  • I'm glad no one has yelled at me yet for my wine drinking, thanks guys :) I lift *sometimes* but not consistently and certainly not heavy. The weight room intimidates me. It's probably time for me to get over it and get in there.
  • Um yeah. It was a sad morning on the scale today. Your post perked me back up. We are not alone, let's just get back to it!
  • I'm 5'4 and 145 lbs so I'm fit, but definitely squishy, I feel like I could stay where I am, but I'm honestly just interested in seeing how far I can take my body in getting fit. Mainly toning and tightening seems to be my issue. The other thing you actually touched on Leanne is with the whole wine thing... I could give it…
  • Interesting, hadn't even thought of that.... Best part is I have one!!!
