  • I have to admit my most recent dietician had some wonky ideas. Like I shouldn't eat fake sugar and just replace it with regular sugar. And I shouldn't chew sugar free gum. But most of her advise was pretty solid like focusing on whole foods and the my plate formula. Although she never said it I kind of got the impression…
  • But seriously do you think someone is going to judge throwing up more harshly. That's messed up an eating disorder is an eatIng disorder period.
  • I agree. I don't think most people would describe that as fat. It is basically my starting weight 167 at 5'7.5". Yes I'm trying to lose but it is mostly for health reasons. I think I look pretty good. Different than I used to but seriously I would be enraged if someone described me as fat or any synonym. I mean it is…
  • I'm aiming for around 23 so I am solidly into the normal range.
  • Haha. Love attack on Titan. Good luck. Seems like you are doing well. You may want to aim a little higher than 125 at first. And just evaluate how you look and feel. If you haven't weighed around that you may not know your frame size and how you carry your weight. But still it seems like you are doing very well so don't…
  • Tuna packets in oil
  • Can anyone recommend a more expensive low calorie option?? I need to use my rewards.
  • I take flinstones too. They're my favorite. Kind of is a waste I bet. But they taste good at least. The most important suppliments is omega 3s as they are so hard to get in diet. But I never take them.
  • Yeah mine has been so far from linear lol.
  • I'm not as tall as you but we have similar measurements. I'm around 36-30-41. But only 5'7.5". I have a just overweight Bmi right now like 25.3. I think It does have a lot to do with your frame and how you carry it. And your waist is smaller in proportion to your body than shorter. people. So you are relatively thinner…
  • Yeah it gave me energy when I took it too.
  • I've almost had this issue. It feels the same because you are only feeling the tights on your skin
  • Well there have been a number of recent discussions of probiotic benefits to the skin. But it is my understanding you have to directly place them on your skin. And I'm pretty sure gut probiotics aren't the same as skin ones. This field should be developing more in the coming years though.
  • I always like an excuse to shop. I prefer it being for my size going down. But it's usually for it going up. I don't expect to lose much more than a size. But since I just bought some new clothes I'm going to have to go shopping again once I've lost and my weight has stabilized.
  • I know. Great job. But you carried your weight very well. You must have a lot of muscle.
  • I'm in your same boat bmi just over 25 whr of .72. I am aiming to get my bmi to 23-24. Although I look fine I'm not my best. I don't think bmi is a hard cutoff like one pound could seriously be the difference between healthy or unhealthy. But keeping it within that range is ideal. I actually recently read the lower end of…
  • There are a few variables. But exercise doesn't matter much for weight loss. For cardiovascular health 30 minutes a day is good.
  • Good luck. Lack of routine is tough. But you can do it. Make your own routine. You have the freedom to make it however you want!
  • Okay thanks! That was a concern of mine too. Hopefully I find someone I'm comfortable with. And I will try to be open minded. I do believe in it even if it isn't apparent from this post.
  • Well I am sometimes hungry. But I usually eat about 1600 cals so my deficit is pretty low. I've found at night time it is often a fake hunger. I just want something more for some reason. But during the day if I'm hungry it's usually because I am. Still in my experience it isn't too bad if you stick to modest goals. On old…
  • I need a thousand words to understand this. Some kind me of scale?
  • All I want from a trainer is more knowledge about weight training. I am doing well with "this" generally. I have lost some weight. I only want to lose about 10 more pounds with no definite timeline. For me it is more about health. I understand that mindset. But my goals are a little different than many. And honestly I'm…
  • That's true. But I'm in recovery from an eating disorder so these are tricky subjects for me. Also I have a ton of diet and nutrition knowledge both from self study and from seeing nutritionists for years. Thanks for the responses everyone. Hopefully it goes well.
  • Mine doesn't have zumba listed. Is it only online.
  • I feel like I've become invisible. But I'm putting it on my engagement ring lol. Still I remember I got so much attention at my thinnest. But I'm much happier now.
  • Not Canadian but just wanted to pipe in and say I love your television! And thanks to degrassi I can spot a Canadian a mile away. Just starting Orphan Black. Really good so far.
  • Best to fry in rather butter or coconut oil. Olive is good for low heat or adding oil to a recipe. It turns in to trans fat at a lower point than more stable fats. Lard is also good for that reason.
  • What!? I have 7-11 packets most days. I guess it doesn't matter though. I chew up to a pack of gum and each piece has 5 calories. These things average out. Still I didn't know that.
  • Some have posted that you can do both with a kind of intermittent diet. Eat at or just above maintenance on heavy lifting days and then lower on other days. Although I don't focus on which days I'm doing this to a certain extent and it seems to be working. But I'm basically a beginner too. So we will see over time. This is…
