As you should be. Congratulations, this sounds great!

I overdid it on the weekend again, but didn't gain as much and it's coming off pretty fast. I'm at 190.6 as of today so I'm still pretty happy with where I am. I have to learn to plan my weekends better, especially when there are family functions involved.

It looks great, I haven't tried it yet.

I love using avocado in egg salad. So yummy!

I think it's a great idea. Eggs were vilified for a long time and modern medicine has come back to the conclusion that they are a great, complete protein source with a lot of vitamins and minerals. Enjoy your eggs!!

I feel like my family is really jumping on board with my keto lifestyle. We are celebrating my Dad's birthday this weekend and planning to order pizza. My Mom asked if I would like her to order me an antipasto salad so I don't have to eat pizza. I love her.

Hi Audrey! I'm Stacy, I've been doing keto for a little over 2 months. Check out the Low Carb Daily Forum group, it's full of great people and a whole lot of information. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum-the-lcd-group

Before is 05/2015 242lbs, after is today 9/15/2016 at 189.8 lbs. Another 40-ish to go before I re-evaluate. Yes, same dress ;)

A little olive oil, salt and pepper. Maybe a splash of balsamic vinegar......to die for!

Last night I had a Philly Steak sandwich without the bread, made from rib eye steak. It was so tender and juicy. I paired it with a side salad topped with herb infused olive oil.

You rock!!!

Try mixing them with brussells spouts and then roasting. The two together are amazing!

Two chicken, spinach and feta sausages with 2 hard boiled eggs. Super yummy!

Out to dinner last night. I had a deconstructed Philly Cheese Steak made with ribeye that just melted, a small green salad topped with herb infused olive oil. It was wonderful.

I'm not a momma yet, some day I hope. However, other moms have said that in the food diary you can type in breast feeding and it will give you an option for negative calorie adjustments. Best of luck!!

Feeling good this week. I lost the 5+lbs that I had gained over Labor Day weekend (silly water retention) and dropped a bit more. Down to 189.8 today, that's 62lbs since I started in March of 2015. Moving along at a nice, healthy pace and feeling good. 10 weeks until Thanksgiving and now just 14.8lbs to lose to get to my…

I have had success in the past 18 months starting with simply CICO and doing an overall reduction in calories and reduced fat. I have, however, found that eating LCHF is extremely beneficial with my hormonal issues; Hypothyroid, PCOS and Insulin Resistance. I found that while eating lower fat/moderate-high carb I needed to…

the high school bleachers would be my suggestion as well. I would also agree that the lunges and calf raises will be really helpful. Make sure you are keeping your IT band (tendon that runs from outer hip to outer knee) stretched.

I weigh in every day. I like to have more information on my graph. I track the ups as well as the downs. It helps me to get a better picture of how I react to certain foods or that TOM. I only share on my newsfeed when I am at a new low.

Hi, Keto here too. The Low Carber Daily Forum group is a great place to meet people and a wealth of information.
-
Usually I just log my exercise on the fitbit app, when I do want to record it here i change the calories burned to '1' so that I'm not double dipping.
-
Hi, on the app go to settings, Profile, then goals-all the way at the bottom. Once you set your goals you will see the re-calculated calorie goal on the home page.

Hello amazing friends! I just wanted to check in and share my continued success in the hope that it helps to inspire each of you. I tiptoed into Onederland with a weigh in of 199.6 lbs. on June 29th. As of today I am at 189.8 lbs. I have fluctuated several pounds up and down since reaching Onederland but am not giving up…

Today I had a delightful angus beef hamburger with saurkraut. It was delicious and nutritious.

I agree with @castlerobber , Fats then protein then carbs. Think of your macros this way: you carb level is a max you don't want to go over, your protein level is a goal to hit and eat fat to satiety. Don't be afraid of the fat, it gives food flavor while helping you stay satisfied and fight cravings. Take a look at the…

Best of luck to you! I think setting 'mini goals' is a great plan. Take your time and be good to yourself, you can absolutely reach your goals!

I tend to stick with a meat and veg for most meals. I have to watch my dairy intake so I don't do much will cheese. I love a nice piece of salmon with sauteed green beans and extra butter. Yum!
-
I made them over the weekend for a picnic and they were a hit! Thanks for sharing.

I find it interesting how many people with Hypothyroid also seem to have food allergies or intolerance. I was diagnosed with hypothyroid at 8 years old, my sister wasn't diagnosed in her early 20's. We both have gluten intolerance and wheat allergy. I am sensitive to the hormones in dairy and soy. I am also finding that I…
