You look phenomenal!!

I am not sure where you are on the journey corinasue1143. I feel you. I’m just struggling with any sort of routine lately. I miss this board! It’s not very active. I’m not a Facebook or Instagram person or any other major platform. MFP is basically all I “do”.

Nice to see you back. I am not on Facebook so this is all I have to look at for inspiration and advice. I am barely getting back into trying to eat and move after having twins last August. I hope that you check in frequently.

That is true and even more so during the holidays!

I just popped on. I don’t do Facebook so keep posting. :)

I'm so sorry to read this. Lots of hugs your way. I know exactly how that feels.

I have had girlfriends go in for inductions because they were told that their babies were 9 pounds and getting larger and they came out high 7 pounds or flat 8s. I always take the ultrasound measurements towards the end as a very rough estimate. I was told that my 4th baby was about 7 pounds and he was my biggest fella at…

This is great to read and so inspiring! How do you feel during the cuts and what percentage are you cutting at before going back to TDEE?

Try not to worry, I know it sounds silly but, your body sometimes just does what it is going to do when pregnant no matter what we do. It will come off! Take comfort in knowing you have a fellow MFPer in the exact same boat! I'm doing the calorie counting and for some reason the weight just piles on and it stays and I have…

My 2nd baby was breech until the last few weeks. We were nervous about it but then one night we saw this crazy activity going on under my shirt and it was crazy(!). My husband said that the baby probably turned around with how crazy it looked and at the next appointment we found out baby had turned and was head down.

Ibtmas- that is great info. Thanks for sharing.

I've had a Zip for a year and like it. I don't like the look of the watches personally. I like my own watch and I don't care about the HR aspect of it. I walk and do heavy weights so the HR isn't really a factor for me. It's cheap and you get a warning when the battery is low and it can be completely inconspicuous in the…

Sometimes our bodies do what they're gonna do. I saw pics of myself from early December and went :o what has happened to my thighs and I thought I would love to look like that again and at the time I just wanted to drop 10 pounds. I feel like my babies are putting on weight but perhaps even though I am logging and walking…

Yes, unfortunately. We have been married for 15 years and so far we have 5 kids and my cousin asked the other day if this was planned or were we surprised. My answer, because I don't answer questions like that was, "Twins are always a surprise aren't they?!". She dropped it after that thank goodness. Yes, we know what…

Yay, you're back! Glad to "see" you back on the board again. :)

Glad your surgery went well. Nourish yourself and rest.

What about raw bell peppers in all the colors? Zucchini and tomatoes are good and easy and fast. Green beans, lightly steam put some lemon pepper on them or garlic. I like grilling eggplant with a little coating of olive oil, tahini and some honey. I either roast the slices coated in that in the oven or grill the slices.…

That is great that you have scientific proof, your resting blood sugar levels dropping, that this is good for you and you are nourishing your body. :)

6 inches down sounds like a successful cut to me. Do your clothes fit differently?
-
Yay, for yanking out the battery on your scale! :) Take measurements. Hope you feel better.

You will be fine. I have always felt that everything is incremental with babies. They sleep more in the beginning, maybe not when you want them to, and then they gradually stay awake more. It all works out.
-
Yikes, I haven't bought shirts recently. :# I still have some cotton ones from my previous pregnancies.
-
I like the secret belly on the Destination Maternity clothes- they stay up. This is my 6th pregnancy and have Gap, Old Navy and Destination Maternity/Motherhood, Target maternity clothes and I think Gap and Old Navy fall short on their belly bands, they're cute pants but I am always having to hike them up. My favorite…

Happy Birthday! Isn't it great how our bodies crave good food after awhile?! Once you get into the habit of eating protein it becomes a priority even when you're indulging in party food. I think it's great because it helps us maintain some balance. Enjoy the birthday celebrations. :)

That's great!

Just keep plugging away and stay the course. It's hard. With the stories and support here and the knowledge you have, you have got this!

I tend to not eat when I am super stressed and upset. Now bored, that's a different game altogether. However, it must be the body's reaction chemically for me when stressed not to eat. I always reason because whatever is upsetting is bigger than my appetite.
-
And of course known about heavy lifting. Sigh. Oh well, we learn and do better.

If only I had logged before trying to cut. I might have been saved from a reset if I knew this. So, YES, to what heybales said.
