I do Hiit because I enjoy it, its quick and burns a lot of calories. I also do cardio (jumping rope, kickboxing and walking too).

Hello, I have got some questions. Are macros so important for fat-loss? Whats the best way to train that is safe for fat loss? My body seems to respond better specially my lower body which is my trouble zone when I do total body strength training (3x week) rather than splitting the upper body, core, and lower body. Is it…

Working out 2x a week is lightly active, to be considered active you had to workout 4-6x a week. You have to add your exercise manually.

Calorie defict is good for fat burning, doing cardio helps to burn calories, strength training helps to build or make muscles stronger. the more muscle you have the more calories you burn you burn more fat to keep those muscles.

Hello Everyone, I hope you had a great weekend. Last week with was a disaster and unhealthy, because or I didn't have time to eat or I'd forget to eat and whenever I ate mostly it was those quick unhealthy foods. Also I couldn't workout those days knowing that I didn't feed well my body, the only workout I did was…

2 weeks is a short time, give it more 1 or 2 weeks and if you weight is still the same you should change something, your exercises and your diet. Seriously, I used to hate when my body was stuck, but now I'm fine with it, but when I reached plateau, I'd do carb cycling for a week or 2 to shock my body (for 1-3 weeks), do…

Hey, I know its late, but the tips of succeding in working out is doing the physical activity you like because its going to be easy to commit. I love fitnessblender because I love to challenge myself and because they offer lots of challenging workouts (no matter whats your fitness level) its motivates me a lot, I've never…

:o Its been already a month, sorry for late reply. I think its great that you decide to add physical activity, not only because it speeds for weight loss, but also as you said before you wanted to be a healthy 50 year old and have a health and prospects of a 35 year old and not a 50. As I said before choose the exercise…

I would probably say you mostly get sick on winter (I hope you refer to winter) because It's so cold, people get to wear lots of clothes to mantain the body warm, and people tend to be next to each other, also the places you go their probably hot (due to use of heaters) and windows aren't so open. So what happends it this…

@DanceDiva234 Finally! :# :) Thanks a lot for creating this one I thought nobody was intersted this month. This month just like others will be complicated, I just can't wait for the exams to finish, but I'm still in the challenge and I wont have specific days for weighing myself. December was a disaster in maintaining or…

Thats interesting, but when you bulk to build muscle did you gain some fat too? This looks interesting, because first place where I gain fat is my thighs, no matter I do lots or less workouts in a surplus. Did you ever eat in surplus or mantaince? How long did it take? sorry for all these questions, I hope you don't mind.

Same here! My thighs are the toughest place to lose fat, my upper body is the first place to shed the fat. The best way to lose fat from thighs is just by simply losing it on your whole body, slowly your thighs will start to look toned. Doing HIIT and Weights helps a lot for fat loss, also you should be in a calorie…

Yoga classes are really fun calm and relaxing. I love yoga, whether if it's an online class or not, specially the vinyasa and yin yoga. My favourite online are Leigha Butler, Tara Stiles, Lesley Fightmaster, Yoga with Tim and Ali Kamenova (she does lot of intense type kind of power vinyasa and interval yoga). For beginners…

Hey! First of all I wanted to say that its goof that you are trying to lose some weight and being healthy as a lifestyle. But In order for that you need to be motivated too and I see you are :) Many people claim that calorie counting helps them to lose weight I agree, but you also need to check the macros too. Eating less…

What was written ^^ is so true. whatever weight you have, please dont hate your body because it doesnt look like a certain person's body, we are all built differently some people are skinny naturally some have more fat naturally some have a muscular type naturally, so please dont compare yourself and your body to other…

Yes it could be and it could be not. I would just try to stick in what makes it easier for me to see my weight flactuates whenever I can (home scale), I'm not saying that doctor's scale is not good, but normally when you go to doctors you normally weigh yourself in clothes, weighting yourself naked and with clothes doesnt…

Fitnessblender is the best so far! You could also try Nike Training Club is good too, but not so versatile as fitnessblender.

Yes, fitnessblender is a lifesaver!! I love them so much! when I first started being active again, I did their workout 1-2 times a week for 25-40min. But after sometime I got addicted to their workouts, so nowadays all or most of the workout I do is their videos, with jumping rope and yoga everywhile. I mostly do lvl 4 and…

viaTess, thats a great plan, stressing with weight and calorie limit isn't that fun, its good you are focusing on being healthy and not making plans and enjoying the process. I find that If I try to plan my food or exercises for the day I end up stressing so, I've decided to just listen to my body and eat intituively.

I know how it sucks to not seeing the number down, you'll see the numbers down on the tape if you also take measurements. Maybe you've reached pleateau, try changing your routine during this weeks (like doing more HIIT, or lowering few calories, carb cycling, etc)

Please don't interprete me wrote I don't want to seem rude or anything like that, Why don't you raise even more your calories, eating between 800-1200cal is still unhealthy, your body will be in starvation (it will keep the fat and make you lose the muscle mass, which is actually bad, its receiving less energy to function…
